Why would he not want to sign?

    1. He gets to start
    2. He gets to play for a defensive minded coach
    3. He gets to stick it to the Nets four times a year

Here's an update on Caron Butler:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Per wire services, Heat forward Caron Butler had arthroscopic knee surgery on Saturday and could be sidelined a month. Butler bruised his left knee during the first day of workouts Wednesday. Tests showed no cartilage damage but revealed loose particles. If Butler misses a month, as coach Pat Riley estimates, he would be out through the first three games of the regular season. "It just sort of sets everything back,'' Riley said. "This is very disappointing.'' Butler decided to have surgery rather than deal with continued stiffness and swelling. "I didn't want to take a chance with it,'' he said. "And the swelling wasn't going down. We tried to wait two days. It still didn't go down.''</div>

i think the heat should trade EJ for a Center....I just wanna see Zo back in the town whethere or not he dominates like he used to...I dont see why the Nets would want EJ tho...i read from an article that suggested trading EJ for 3 indiana players that included Ron Artest but i think its just stupid..we have way too many guys ranging from 6'6 to 6'9. the heat needs to get rid of one(EJ) and get a 7 footer.... or ZOZOZOZO
