i dont think he will because he is playing with wade, jones, odom, etc. guys who can score 25 ppg usually dont have other big time players (kobe-shaq is the exception but look at iverson, duncan, kg, pierce, carter, etc)
I said that dever will suck 1st year with melo there. Becuase they have no1 Melo and butler almost have the same game
I think Melo's going to have a better career then Caron...but maybe Caron will do a better job then Melo this season?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWillTheFreak:</div><div class="quote_post">That was BUTLER 1st year. And those stats that he got 14 a game is pretty good for a rookie</div>Cool your jets, because Butler won't even be starting this season unless Eddie Jones is traded for a Point Guard, Power Forward, or Center.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dexter:</div><div class="quote_post">I beg to differ. Carmelo is much more than a scorer. He has a complete game in all means. He can rebound, play D, is a great passer and can take over a game when needed. </div> I saw a lot of Melo, and I've seen Rutger's(who beat Cuse) scouts takes on Melo and his game. He is a great college player who fits perfectly into Jim Boheim's system defensively and offensively. But he never ran the team, he can't just take the ball and score, he needs to get the ball in a position to score. He always dribbles to the left when driving and takes one dribble to the left when shooting. Also he won't be able to post up as well in the NBA. I think in the NBA he will be more of a Glenn robinson or Antoine Walker with fewer rebounds.

I think that Melo can handle the ball a little better, and has more athleticism. Glenn may have a better jump shot.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">caron, he is gonna be the steal of last year's draft at #10. he is gonna be awesome.</div> The steal was Amare Stoudemire, but Butler will have a great career in my opinion, a future all star.
They are both going to be stars. but I think Melo will have the bigger career because denver is going to build the nuggets around him to adapt to his style of play. I dont think the Heat have those type of plans for Caron. Caron is only one part of their puzzle not the main part.
