Neither my wife, nor I have a cat. My brother and sister-in-law do, though. They also have a dog....and a dog door. Their cat has seen fit to bring rabbits and mice into their home through the dog door.....then devour them Sometimes on their kitchen table. It's not a great look. BTW, I've never heard of cat training. Is this to assume they're already trained?
Lucia had made it clear she wants to exit and enter through the front door like an honored guest, not back door as though she was a .... dog.
All windows are screened. Actually front door makes sense from her point of view. Outside front door is elevated deck, from which she can scan area. Side door lets her out at ground level and my car is there so visibility limited. And she is honored. As she should be.
All my dogs wanted to exit and enter the house from the closest door, because dogs are efficient and do not subscribe to early 20th century Downton abbey feudal class structure.

FWIW, when my better half and myself rented our first apartment - it was one the 1st floor but because it was on a hill, a local street cat had no issues to get in and out from a window and has generously allowed us to remain in that place. She gave birth in one of our sock drawers and allowed us to help her and handle the babies within minutes of the birth. She was a real cute thing, but when we moved - she chose to stay with the apartment. I hope she was kind enough to the next residents as she was with us.

You are very confused sometimes. That is not racist in any way. Obviously you have never been there or anywhere in Asia for that matter. Cultural difference does not mean racist. It does happen and nobody anywhere said anything about gays.
I am not confused. I have heard racists accusing Asian immigrants and Asian Americans of killing household pets for food. I know dog meat is eaten in some countries but I am unaware of any actual case of any household pet in US being killed by Asian neighbors for food. It is as much a slander as gays recruiting children.
