Back to the game that is actually being played...

The warriors are using Dampier great with these back door cuts and they are always finding him under the basket, outstanding coaching.

BTW, what a dunk over J-Rich by Bron, ouch.

    *Edit*

    Over Mike and J-Rich

    ----------

    Warriors up 81/74 after 3

    James has 23, 6, and 5

    J-Rich has 20, 2, and 2

If the Cavs don't stop Dampier or Robinson in the 4th, they will lose.

The Warriors are missing numerous lay ups, this should be a blow out by now. Cavs are hanging in there though.

Cavs just stand around too much looking around waiting for the next guy to do something. Drives me crazy. See how many time they have had miscommunications as well?

Thought you were supposed to go to the game Rude?

James can't do it all himself, everything is isolation for him now, they won't move without the basketball, argh!

This game is over. Robinson is out of his mind shooting 7/8 from the 3 pt stripe.

I was going with some friends but had to pull out because of practice.[IMG]

Cliff Robinson, I mean the Warriors win 119/102

Robinson finished with 35 points to go along with those 7 treys. Not much you can do when someone is shooting like that.

    J-Rich had 25, Dampier had 18 and 11.

    James had 29, 6, and 6 after a 27, 9, and 9 game at Seattle.

Full story and box score coming soon.

the warriors won.. uncle cliffy was feeling it tonight from 3point range, i think he shot 7-8 and tied a franchise record or something, Darius Miles played fairly good, LeBron as usually played better than you would expect him to he was great some crazy dunks in that game from him, Wagner played 19min nad got 4 fould and 1 to and 6 points pretty good, Erick Williams had an awesome game i think he got like 21points and 5 boards(not sure).

The Cavs should never again be picked to win on these game preview threads. They got their one road win for the next two months, no need to play any defense and risk winning another one before March.

lol, slow down chief, we are all frustrated. Young teams just don't do well in 4th quarters, I don't care who you are. We are still doing much better than last years pace, we have beat some good teams, and we remaisn close in the majority of our games.

Of course you are one of my favorite members here, and you know these things.

Just no need to pressure these kids to win yet, not when 2 of our better players are hearing their names in trade rumors every day. I won't pressure them just yet, I am happy with the progress and direction of this team.

What we get in returt for Z and Miles will be the key to the season.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> LeBron James dazzled a rare sellout crowd with clever ballhandling and spectacular dunks in his first trip to Oakland, but Clifford Robinson just did more.

Robinson had a season-high 35 points, including a career-high seven 3-pointers, and the Golden State Warriors defeated James and the cold-shooting Cleveland Cavaliers 119-102 on Thursday night.

James went 4-for-12 from the field in the first half and finished 8-for-21 with 29 points, six rebounds and six assists. He put on a show after halftime.

The 19-year-old rookie had a sensational one-handed dunk with his left hand late in the third quarter and another impressive slam early in the fourth.

With 7:12 left, he was fouled trying to dunk and fell hard into the basket support. He hopped up immediately, wearing a big smile.

"He's not playing like a 19-year-old, he's playing like a 19-year vet," teammate Darius Miles said.

But James' big night wasn't enough to help the Cavs improve their dismal road record. They are 3-19 away from Gund Arena and were trying to better their road victories total from last season (3-38).

"I don't want to say we were lax," James said. "I just don't think we could stop them. We have a tough time against Cliff Robinson because our big men aren't used to forwards who can stand out there and shoot the 3."

Ain't it the truth? I don't really mind him leaving, he was horrible during the playoffs which is when we would really need him, other than his veteran leadership.

It does bug me that he has learned how to shoot that well though. Ah well, good for him.

Just a little sarcasm on my part King.

As far as the Z and Miles trade scenarios, I'm not sold on moving Miles yet. He just has too many things going for him to give up on him at just 22 years of age. His combination of size, athleticsm, and wing span doesn't come around very often.

On the other hand, its time for Z to go. Silas obviously isn't a big supporter of his, and the likelihood of us resigning him at the end of next year is slim. He is a valuable commodity to several teams and should get us valuable pieces in return. However, we don't need any more role players like we received from Boston. Its time that Paxson gets bold and pulls some strings for a legit outside scoring option.

Looks like James is primed to start another tear like he put on late December. He got his scoring average back up to over 20 points per game. The assist numbers have been going up and up, and the rebounding is getting close to that 6 mark again too.

We are almost half way through the season, and we are seeing 20, 6, and 6.

Anyone even dream about this? I sure did not.

LeBrons intensity in the 3rd quarter brought a smile to my face as i watch this young man grow up into a great player that i get to watch night after night. The lose was a disapointment, but watching LeBron play well makes up for it. I tip my hat to the Warriors who shot excellent when it counts. Great game, another reason to love basketball.

LeBron was sure fired up in the 2nd half. He was yelling, screaming, and talking crap with the other team. After Speedy fouled him while he was driving to the basket he then gave up an elbow! Shocked the refs missed that.

I like this, get fired up, show some emotion.

Finally, Bron gets the message. He should do this more. He shouldn't care that the stars respect him, or shake his hands at the end of games, talk trash! I guess both of the teenage standouts get it.

If we are comparing Melo to Bron, then Wade belongs in that list as well, because if he was healthy, I would bet his numbers would be better than Melo's at this point.

Back to the topic though, I enjoyed it. Bron has not been getting calls nor respect from the refs, I know he is a rookie and all, but I was getting sick of him driving to the basket, getting hammered, and just no call being made. I am sure the refs can be tough on him in other ways.

I think the main reason we lost, was that we had to little fastbreak points, they kicked us really there!
They had 34 and we had 9 points at fastbreak, you see why we lost just because of this:)
