If we can pull this game out.... I really think we are legit.

This game is what the playoffs are going to be like. Against a better team in their building.

Well, the more I think about this game the more I don't like it. It's like I am already looking forweard to the Buck game.

    Bench, please show up again.

I don't have any good feeling about this game but if the Cavs keep their intensity the Hornets must also think of how to play them too. It's @ New Orleans, it'd be very tough but if the Cavs win this game, I believe they will make the playoffs. Cavs by 5.

    Hornets may seek comeback payback

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Forward P.J. Brown either has a case of selective amnesia or he has simply forgotten about his New Orleans Hornets blowing a 25-point lead last week in Cleveland.

The Hornets host the Cavaliers tonight in New Orleans and the last thing on the minds of the Hornets, according to Brown, is revenge.

"More importantly to us, is that we want to play well instead of thinking about vendettas," Brown said. "We just want to come out and play a complete game."

It's been 11 days since the Cavs' memorable comeback at Gund Arena on Feb. 23.

The Cavaliers rallied from a 25-point second-quarter deficit behind the outside shooting of Jason Kapono and the clutch shooting of Jeff McInnis to finish with an incredible 104-100 victory

I just can't see the Cavs winning this one especially after their big comeback in the last matchup with the Hornets.
I think a key like usual is the Cavs perimeter defense. They can't let Davis, Mashburn or Wesley go off. The Cavs do have an advantage offensively inside. The big guys can't get in foul trouble trying to cover for our perimeter players inability to stop their man from taking it to the hole.
Don't see a Cavs win but who knows since this team is unpredictable.

I *one of the few* have a good feeling about this game. I have that feeling that there is one person who is going to have a big role in this game, my crystal ball tells me it will be.............I see a guard, I see............a smaller guard.........he is sitting on the bench..............it's Wagner! I have a feeling that Wags will have a great game tonight and might reach close to 20ish, the other person i think will be big tonight will be Diop. Diop will get his mins tonight because the Hornets will most likely try to bang Z and Boozer around to get them in foul trouble, and might succeed on Z. I think that Diop will get some big mins tonight and hopefully do a good job. Of course along with this LeBron will have a usual game. Z will get his and a supersized game from Boozer tonight also.

Going out on a limb and say...............Cavs by 5

I hope you're right about your crystal ball prediction. Last time against the Hornets, Jason Kapono went nuts and his big play off the bench was needed to win. So yes, somebody is going to need to step up BIG off the bench. If any bench player comes out with 20 points, goodness, if that happens, Cleveland would have to win the game.

i do not think that it is going out on a limb to predict a win tonight. if we are a playoff team -- and it appears that we very well may be -- this is a game that we one hundred percent should be able to compete in. if we cannot compete in this type of a game with a team that has not been having the greatest success lately, then we sure as hell won't compete in the playoffs.

just making the playoffs would be amazing...but imagine if we can advance at least one round!! let's gain some confidence here.

i know this is straight optimism and it is unlikely you won't see me predict a cavs victory the rest of the season...so here it goes...CAVS BY 8 -- BOOK IT!!!!

This game is hard to call. If the Hornets improve their relatively ice cold shooting from beyond the arc, they will go on an offensive tear. But if Cleveland stopped turning the ball over in ways that lead to break out lay ups, the Hornets wouldn't have so many points in transition, which is the key area they beat the Cavaliers in for the first half. I still have a bad feeling about this game but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

    Same for McInnis and Boozer.

We need a good TEAM effort this half to come back. Currently down 52-46.

Good third quarter for the Cavs outscoring the Hornets by 10, 29-19.

We have a 68-62 lead heading into the final frame.

It would be nice for Z to step up and have a big 4th quarter with Maglore on the bench.

EWill just hits an 18 footer from the top of the key to make it 86-83 Cavaliers with 48 seconds left.

James has had a good 4th quarter with 8 pts.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hornets made a layup with 7 seconds left.

Cavaliers are up 1 and will be shooting FTs (if they can inbound the ball) to try and push it back to 3.

Great 4th quarter by the Cav's. I was wondering if we could pull this one off going into the 4th, but we did. James came out big in the 4th along with the rest of the team.
