    Key match-up

    McInnis vs Marbury

If McInnis can stop Marbury's transition game and keep NY playing half court offense then I say the Cavs will definatly win. BTW Im on a roll.

After beating the defending champs. This could be a let down game. But, I'm going to say the Cavs will pull it out in a close one. My prediction. Cavs 96, Knicks 90.

Lebron's 1st performance on the world's greatest stage, the one an only garden. I want to see what type of show he tries to put on. I know his nerves are going to be killing him. But I think the Knicks will win the game. After their weak performance against the Jazz, I think Steph will look to carry the Knicks to a W. knicks win the game by 7-10pts. Shannon Anderson is the Knicks best perimeter defender, so he'll be the primary defender on Lebron(but the Knicks willl probably throw alot of looks at him including a little zone). Kurt thomas/ Carlos boozer is a good matchup too.

LeBron will do great at Madison Square Garden, maybe his first NBA triple-double to?
Hopefully he does, and Cavs get the win over Knicks

You don't put Anderson on James, LeBron will make him look like Spud Webb. The best way to stop LeBron I have saw is to zone it up and play a shadow defense, while not turning the basketball over and hoping that his jump shot is not going.

    Hour till gametime fellas!

Norway with a bold yet very possible prediction!! The boards will be the toughest to get, IMO. If we can get Mutombo in early foul trouble and get him outta the game, maybe he can get a few cheap rebounds. I'll be happy with a double double and a win.

I am pumped for this game. I am gonna say Boooooozer redeems himself from the game he had vs SA. Another double-double for him(15+ boards). If LeBron attacks the rim alot, I like our chances alot. And for a little icing on the cake for the big stage, good old Lenny Wilkens is on the other bench. Good lookin Cavs forum here, btw.. Cavs by 5.

Its sad how BAD shooting is in the NBA now-a-days.

If you are WIDE open, it should be money 90% of the time.

^Then you know nothing about Houston, he plays no defense.

    Research Norway.

That pick and roll should work all day long.

Mutombo is way too old and creaky to do anything to stop it.

Z is too much for Mutombo.

Allen Houston.... the king of the 22/1/1 boxscore.

Newble must play Tim Thomas tougher and Boozer must not give up those open jump shots to Kurt Thomas.

    Tied 24/24 after one

James has 8 points and an assist

    Marbury 2, 2, and 4 on 1-6 shooting

    Z has 10 and 6

    Deke has 6 and 6

Good first, Cavs missed 2 layups in a row last in the quarter, hope they don't come back to haunt us.
