Would be nice to see a trade go down. I also hear the Cavaliers talking about Earl Boykins. That would be pretty good for our bench.Got to see what happens in the next week or so.

Denver is expected to trade Boykins this season (before Feb trading deadline) because he will opt out this summer and will ask at least $5 million.Because we are already over the limit cap, we will be required to pay dollar-for-dollar tax that means if Boykins asks for 5 we'll end up paying $10 million. Nuggets are reportedly very reluctant to pay that much... a trade will solve it. Isn't Boykins the answer you're looking for (scoring PG, inexpensive)? He's reached 20+ points in 6 of his last 7 games. We, on the other hand, need a low-post PF, such as Drew Gooden. Perhaps a trade talk will really take place. :dribble:

Before I would jump on any trade to trade Gooden. But if he keeps playing this well, no way in hell I will ship him off for that low.

The bst player to fit here would be T.J Ford. He is a great scoring point guard who can slash and dish. This would also get Z more invlolved in our offense.

Also Jamier Nelson could do good here. He is not that much money and is a good player who would fit well here.

Kirk Hinrich is someone I would love to have but it is just a dream. It will never happen. He can shoot well, pass, etc... Just a good player.

No, I don't think we need to make a deal... We don't even have a great trading asset. Players like TJ Ford and Mike Bibby are absolutely ugly to watch when it comes to defense. Sure, they can score dramatically and dish it to others but we already have Hughes and LeBron to fill in that role. Snow is playing well when it comes to defense and I'm just hoping that Daniel Gibson could develop into a starter for us. The Cavaliers do not need to make a roster change..

I disagree.I think we need more fire power off the bench. We only have 3 years to win a ring or the King will leave the Building. I think we could use a guy like Boykins off the bench. Gibson is going to be great, but we don't have that kinda time to wait. I see Boobie being the PG we want him to be in a few years. Well, we only have 3 and I think a deal that would get rid of the players we don't use(Ira, Wesley, Scott, Pavs) We have a lot of dead weight on this team, and getting a guy like Earl Boykins could help us in the long run.

We'd probably throw in Reggie Evans too for Gooden and Daniel Gibson (backup point for us)

There is no way in hell we will trade Gibson. And I don't see us trading Gooden unless we get a better deal. But no way will Boobie leave!

And there is no way we are going to make any deals especially if we're playing tremendously well right now.

If Ferry can pull it off for cheap, that would be great.
