cavs are looking NICE on paper...I love the additions they've made...they added perfect complementary pieces...they very well could be top 3 in the east if they play to their potential and no major injuries occur...I see Indiana and Miami as the top 2 favorites, but seeds 3 and 4 are up for grabs...

They finshed eighth in the conference this year and have made no significant changes to their roster. A fifth or sixth seed is a little more realistic, with the third seed going to indiana or the cavs
Playmaker14- U mentioned the Cavs not being that much bigger than Miami, Pacers, Kings, Lakers etc. I disagree...sorta. Miami is bigger because of the arguably better-than-LeBron Dwayne Wade, and Shaq...and now all those other guys they just traded for. The pacers don't receive NEARLY AS MUCH hype as they should because in my opinion they are by far the best team in basketball...I mean they took Detroit to 6 or 7 in the playoffs in the second round...without Artest or homecourt advatage. So they should be gettin more hype...as for LA....They're way more interesting to the average fan because 1)they are LA 2) Everyone loves to watch Kobe, whether they love him or hate him, there is this fascination with the guy. The cavs should not get that many games on TV....and they better make the playoffs this year because otherwise people are going to start questioning LeBrons ability as a leader.

Let me explain something to you because you obviously don't follow ball. The top 3 seeds go to the champions of each division:Atlantic, Southeast, and central. The Nets are basically a shoe-in for the Atlantic, and I doubt even you can disagree with that. Because I doubt that NJ will be better than Miami or Detroit/Indiana, they, barring a miracle for NY or Boston, will get the 3 seed. As far as the Cavs getting anything higher than a five-seed, YOU be realistic, they're not beating out Detroit or Indy, and probably won't even beat out Chicago or Washington. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The cavs should not get that many games on TV....and they better make the playoffs this year because otherwise people are going to start questioning LeBrons ability as a leader.</div> If they get anything lower than a 7 seed, no one will be able to use the "his teammates suck" excuse anymore.
dont u mean LEBRON has record 32 telivised games?? take lebron from cavs and you get hornets tv allowance......look at the big picture it aint about b-ball anymore its about product placement

I guess since NJ finished third in their division behind two mediocre teams last season, got swept in the playoffs and havent done anything this offseason they are definetley a shoe in this year.I've obviously really thought this through and since i know they're gonna win i cant possibly be ignorant or dumb. And with a tough guy like vince who always gives it his all, you really cant go against this team. Add to that an old and injury prone point guard and you definetly have an obvious division champ. There is also no question that you must be right about cleveland being worse than chicago and washington. I found a couple of posts from your old name, "prinvince119" that show some amazing statements: 1) The rockets are good but theres only one problem...tmac is a terrible player he cant even make a layup. hes a ball hog and the team hes on always end up last. he cant play bball and i saw him get blocked by earl boykins 2) About the wizards 2004-2005 playoff chances: Wizards had all those guys last year like gillbert, kwame, haywood, hughes and dixon and they still sucked. Jamison is a great player but hes no miracle worker and will not turn that franchise around. Plus its likely their best player arenas will get injured sometime next season as well. 3) Why raps will be a lot better than cleveland at SG: sg- if we play vince shooting guard or small forward it dont matter, either way vince(2005 stats:24,5,4) has definite adv. on lebron(2005 stats:27,7,7) no need to explain why Judging by your previous claims you must be completely correct about this years predictions. Thank you for helping me see why the cavs, with three probable all stars will surely grab a lower seed than the nets with their lineup of tough and injury-free players. The cavs, and especially lebron deserve every damn game that the league gave them.

If you can tell me with a straight face that Philly and Boston will be better than the Nets this year, then you are an even bigger piece of work than I thought you were. I doubt if even Philly and Boston fans think their teams will be better. Isiah Thomas said that the Knicks are rebuilding, so don't expect a huge turn-around from them. But oh yes, maybe your hero Chris Bosh will lead the Raps to a thirs seed . Face it, everyone else in the Atlantic is rebuilding, and I GUARANTEE the Nets will win the division. Vince almost single-handedly brought the Nets back from the dead last year, how can you still say he sucks. He probably used to be your favourite player anyway, and I'm sure you have one of his jerseys. This season he will have RJ to take away double-teams, so he will be even more dangerous. O yes, and BTW, RJ is back after missing last season. He avgd. 24 and 8 before the injury so I'd say that is a big addition. And Kidd played some of the best ball of his career after he fully recovered from knee surgery. This guy is still the league's top pg, so don't post crap about him being washed-up. Cleveland has added 2 guys this offseason. You don't even know if they will fit your system, and how they will mesh with Lebron. Chicago is very young and will only get better, and they added a few role players in FA. They had the fifth seed last year (without Curry down the stretch) and Cleveland didn't make the playoffs. I think that saying they will better is an accurate prediction and is warranted. What are you going on about? If this is how you spend your free-time, researching about some guy with no connection at all to me, then I feel bad for you. JBB has never had any problems with me. I know your in love with Lebron, but I fail to see how they deserve every game they've received. If anything, I think most people will agree that they haven't earned anything. The only reason they're getting so many games is because Lebron is Stearn's pet.

The only reason they're getting so many games is because Lebron is Stearn's pet.</div> First off you can shut your cockhole and stop saying the same thing over and over while taking petty shots at me. Second, i dont think its unrealistic to say that NY, boston and philly will compete for the division. I see no reason why the nets should improve any more than those teams. You say that vince brought them back on his own, despite the fact that Kidd, who you claim incorrectly to be the best point in L rejoined the team around the same time. On the topic of Kidd, i am amazed that you call me a "joke" and a "piece of work" for reasonable arguments, then turn around that kidd is the best in the league. See, there's this guy, Steve Nash who have probably never heard of. He won some obscure award that i think is the MVP, or something like that. Now i've heard, but these are only rumours, that this means he was the best player in the league last year, which also means that he must be the best pg. I know that you might have a touogh time wrapping your head around this one, so let me help you out. Nash averaged more points, assists, had a higher fg%,ft% and 3pt% than kidd. The only major statistical category the kidd beat nash in was rebounds. This is largely because Nash had stronger rebounders on his team, but this stat is irrelevant in comparison to the others when talking about pg's so we'll let it go. If Kidd is so good, then would you please explain this post of yours: "To say that J-Kidd is good, tough defender is just an absolute piece of crap. I have alot of respect for kidd and he does alot of good things, but now that he's older, hes a defensive liability at the PG. He's just not quick enough." Seems a little contradictory to me, but then again im supposedly a joke, so what do i know. The raps obviously wont win the division and i never said they would so i dont have a clue why you mentioned that. I cant wait to see how wrong your guarantee is, i can only hope that it equals the failure of your wizards prediction that i posted earlier. So i own a vince jersey now? Do you come to my house and practices and know what i wear? you really pulled that claim out of your ass and i find it to be completely ridiculous, random and irrelevant. But if you want to do that then im gonna guess that you went out and bought lebrons new shoes. If that is the case then you are a complete douche. A couple of things about RJ too. First of all you either screwed up his stats or just plain lied about them. For the record he averaged 22 and 7 in just over a third of the season. While these stats are impressive, they would have surely dropped had he played the entire season and i dont see how he is some miracle addition. Lets move on to the cavs now and what they're gonna do. I dont think there's any reason to worry about hughes and donyell since the cavs have had plenty of time to adjust them to the system. Also, neither of them will have to carry immense loads since Lebron will be the unquestioned goto guy. Hughes' job is more or less to give the ball to lebron, score when needed and play D. Donyell can pretty much just rebound and shoot and not have to worry about doing as much as he did for the raps. As for the bulls, i dont know what the hell you are talking about. You have once again proven that you are most likely on the border of being mentally retarded. The only player the bulls added in FA is undrafted SG eddie basden. I know you might think hes a potential all star, but dont forget that shiny things get you just as excited. Curry has also been constantly battling with his health and is not very realible, but i dont know why you even brought that team up since detroit and cleveland will be the only teams competing for that divsion title. Instead of saying that the cavs dont deserve their televised games without backing it up and then go looking aroundfor backup, why dont you give some believable reasons. Im not arguing that lebron isnt the reason the cavs got all those games. Instead im saying that this is true and that it is a great reason to give the cavs plenty of games, especially with the additions of donyell and hughes. Lebron is the future of the league and is insanely fun to watch. This point is uncontestable so dont waste your time with repetitive arguments. Another thing, Lebron is Stern's pet? what the hell does that mean? Of course he's gonna love lebron, hes become the face of the league and there is no legitimate reason to not like him. Finally, dont try to deny that your princevince, since its so obvious that you are. Unless its a coincidence that both names end in 119, the same number that you email address ends in. Not to mention that you said under both names that you are from winnipeg and that your favourite player is vince. To say that this is just a big coincidence is absolutely ridiculous and it would only make you look like more of a joke than you already are.
^ NY, Philly, and Boston will not compete for the atlantic division title. Barring serious injury to 1 of the big 3,Jersey has it LOCKED. Cleveland better damn well win 50 games next year or I wont be too happy they were thrown in my face 32 times throughout the season.
