I'm so sick of this team, losing games we should win. I'm so sick of injuries...give me Kwame, please. I never thought Kwame and Luke were difference makers, I now have a higher level of respect for them.

That defense rebound that we lost at the end of the game was just pathetic. BOX OUT!!!!!

Yes their experience helps a lot, but it's not like they can just turn it on in the playoffs. The team still needs to play well as a team. I can't figure this Laker team out at all...

i think these last few games they've lost will be the wake-up call they need</div>
You can't play well as a team when 2 of our 5 starters are injured. Plus, Lamar Odom still isn't 100%. So we basically have 2.5 of our 5 starters.

Give me a healthy Laker team, with Lamar Odom at 100%. Give me Luke Walton and Kwame Brown at 100%, then we'll talk

Yes, not to mention the recent Raptor game and Knick game. Our team cannot rebound when it counts and it's frustrating as hell to constantly lose close games.

I think the coaching staff has to unleash Kobe Bryant to get back on track. He's the only player other teams fear on the court and until the roster is back to full strength, Kobe needs to shoulder the team.

What was the deal with all the late whistles in last night's game? The officials really ruined the flow of this game throughout. They blew calls left and right on both ends of the court and didn't even know if a player was eligible to check into the game or not during free throws. There was about a 2 minute delay before they came to a conclusion.

Our perimeter defense let us down again last night. You know something is wrong when Eric Snow is constantly getting into the paint for layups. Not only are those high percentage shots, but it puts Bynum and Turiaf in foul trouble. You can just see the frustration on Bynum's face when a guard or forward runs into him and draws contact. He has no chance to get in position and you can't expect him to defend two players at once.

The play that really killed us was when Odom half assed his way to double on LeBron James, leaving Sasha Pavlovic wide open for a 3 pointer. That 3 pointer was a dagger and put the game out of reach. I don't think it was Odom's assignment to double team LeBron, especially when it's going to leave open the Cavs best perimeter shooter. Bonehead decision once again by Odom in crunchtime. Kobe was doing just fine defending LeBron and forcing him into difficult looks. LeBron made a few, which was great offense on his part, but Kobe also forced him into missed shots and turnovers.

Something I noticed last night, the only two players on the Lakers who play above the rim are Kobe and Turiaf. Both Odom and Bynum have a terrible habit of waiting for the rebound to come to them instead of elevating and snatching it above the rim. Varejao, LeBron, and Gooden always got a hand on the ball off missed shots by simply out jumping the Laker big men and creating opportunities to secure the loose ball.

I could be wrong, but I distinctively remember Phil Jackson screaming and pointing at Lamar to double up Lebron James. Again, I could be wrong.

Possibly, I wasn't really looking at the bench on that play. I just remember Odom hesistating to double team, leaving LeBron a wide open passing lane to find Pavlovic. Odom half assed it, instead of sprinting over with an aggressive double team.

I agree. Odom basically walked over, leaving Pavlovic wide open for the three. But I do remember Phil yelling at him, and pointing at Lebron, so I'm guessing he was calling for a double team

If he's calling for a double team, it means you hustle your ass over there, not half ass it and let LeBron see it coming. I think Odom's smoking weed before the games, because he seems to get stupider every game.

Well it must be getting passed around the locker room because there's been plenty of idiotic decision making by everyone on the team. I wonder if they skip Kwame in the rotation in fear he might drop the 'J' ?

    LOL, skipping Kwame hahaha.

No one mentioned that Mo Evans moderately sprained his ankle last night. That should be a good 4 week injury!!!!

Another ankle injury..jesus! Who the hell is doing the pre-game ankle wrapping for us? I'm starting to question if he's qualified or not. Mihm, Kwame, Kobe, Odom, Luke, and now Mo have all had ankle tweaks. I don't ever remember one team having this many of the same injury.

If Odom gets caught using something like Crystal Meth, or whatever Chris Anderson used, and he gets suspended for 2 seasons, do we still have to pay him?

Actually Odom has two strikes on him for substance abuse already. If he gets caught again, he will be permanantly banned from the NBA. I imagine his contract is voided if he tests positive.

In that case I doubt Odom's using weed. But then again, the guy's as dumb as a rock so you never know
