Given the opportunity to trade Aldridge for Parker or Wiggins or Smart, along with Thompson+, I would definitely do it. He's very good, but I've never viewed him as a game-changer. I'm ready to swing for the fences.

NOT trading LMA for a Top-3 pick+ would be like not trading Oden for Duncan. :MARIS61:

    Logically, this makes no sense.

It would just seem to good to pass up. As long as it's not Joel Embiid. I just don't want to take a chance on anymore centers.

Joel Embiid is out indefinitely after being seen in Los Angeles by a spinal specialist, but he will not require surgery.

The doctor confirmed the diagnosis of a stress fracture.

Embiid will miss the Big 12 Tournament and likely the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Bill Self is hopeful that Embiid could return for the later rounds.

Embiid had become the player most general managers would select with the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, ahead of Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker.

"Now it's a three-man race again -- and Embiid might be No. 3 depending on how his back checks out by doctors," said one GM to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

LA may have positioned himself this year to the point where a team might give up a top three pick for him. Of course, that all depends on how they finish and how he performs in the teams conclusion. But if the team finishes strong and he is one reason for it. I doubt they would make that trade.

Well in 1984 what the Blazers really should have done is package Clyde and that #2 pick to trade for a big names center. Then you take Jordan. Back then that didn't seem logical, This is going to be one of those moments that you look back on 5-10 years down the road.

If he continues to play soft like this, they can have him. What a disappointment. He had to know his run of making twisty fadeaways was unsustainable. GO INSIDE DAMNIT

Will he even be worth a top 3 pick by this summer if he keeps playing like this? I saw someone saying that since he made his all star game he doesn't give a fuck anymore, wonder if that's the case.
