Speaking of not attacking the rim, here is another stat:

LMA ranks #43 in dunks this season.

Behind "Slowpez" as some like to call him and Asik.

And also well behind HOU's Greg Smith.

    Yeah. that Greg Smith.

Really liking Claver more and more, as he gets more time. I know Stotts mentioned getting him time as a stretch 4 out there. Impressive to me is he is 6'9, can be a stretch 4, but we've seen him cover with decent success 2s, 3s and 4s. I love that flexibility, and definitely see him having a solid role for us next season. Thaat flexibility will allow him to see court time whether we add a new backup 2, 3 or 4, because he can play alongside them all.

His defense isn't very good at all, but if the stretch four means running the break, Victor looks like a solid bench player. I have had hopes for Babbit, but Claver is clearly the better player at this point, and looked confident on the court tonight.

If LMA were a gun everyone would want Obama to take him and melt him down so he can't hurt Fez anymore.

He has the second highest USG% of his career and, well, just look:

WS down (for the 3rd straight season)
OWS down (for the 3rd straight season)
DRtg still a painfully average 107
    Declining eFG%
    Second lowest TS% of career
    4.6 FTA/PER36 o0
Declining FTA (for third straight season)

    Again....

I feel like some fans never want to actually win. They have more fun with the draft process, lottery picks and potential. Even when we are one summer away from becoming a winning team, they still want to blow it up and trade away our all star.

It makes no sense to me to trade aldridge for picks or young guys. The only way we trade aldridge is if we could turn him into a proven upgrade.

Aldridge has a game that will stay with him until his mid 30's. I'm in no rush to trade him and think he'll bring a lot of value to the franchise for years to come.

And Wes will always be one of my favorites. People like to bash on him and point out his PER, but there isn't a harder worker on the team and he'll win you a few games by himself every year.

This team just needs to keep playing together and keep adding talent.

There's a really fine line between wanting to be a fan of a competitive team and looking at the big picture and realizing that adding talent through one of our few available outlets (the draft) is more beneficial to the team in the long run.

It's not that you're less of a fan. Shit, you're a pretty big fan if you log hours fiddle farting around on this board. Its just that you have to have perspective.

Sure and i have no problem with that. some people just never seem to move past the whole potential vs. Actual results stage though. Its like, an all star isnt good enough so lets deal him for a potential guy that could be total shit. Why? Wouldnt you rather keep talent and trade them for bigger talent when the opportunity rises?

From someone who spent the last few months calling out every new poster for being a troll, Fez is now spending 90% of his time here bitching about Aldridge and Lillard. Funny how that works.

This smells so much like when we traded Zach that summer. We had all this potential and traded our best player for cap space. Took us far didn't it?

I could only imagine what it would have been like if we had Zach and Durant instead of cap space and oden.

You have to remember Randolph was traded two times after that for scraps (Knicks, Clippers) because of his outrageous contract that didn't match his questionable play

It's nice to see he finally figured it out once he got to Memphis, though.

I am not sure what it is about him, but he seems to have great instincts and the knack for being around the ball. He gets his hands on a lot of loose balls resulting in rebounds, tips, and steals. He moves well for his size, and has the ability to stay with the wing players. We should know by the end of the year if he is a keeper. I think he is.

Claver looks like he could have a future. Just needs more confidence when it comes to taking shots; the rest of his game sure does look pretty instinctive.

Wrong. Learn the game. Off hand, he had an aggressive first qtr in Miami a few games ago.

Me too. Easiest game to watch in a long time.

Lillard has always shot from back there. It's in his arsenal. It's where he shot from when he dropped 37 at GS.

Anyway, I hate the haters. Great game tonight. Career night for Claver. All around good time. We gotta sweep this home stand.
