Anyone who says this was a bad deal will know why it wasnt once you see Ray Allen actually play. He will bust his ass for his team, and thats exactly what the celtics need to get these young guys going.
yaaay we got a 32 year old with knee problems last year.way to trade away 11 years of playing time Danny (rookie for a 32 yr old)we should make the 1st round of the playoffs with Allen on the bench.this WAS a good deal 5-6 years ago, now it's plain sad.If we were Detroit, Miami or Cleveland this is a great deal to get a talent to help us get over the hump.Instead, he retards the development of the young players... whoopty-dam-doo
