Worst Celtics Moment: That they haven't gotten back to the status they once held. Favorite Celtic (Current): Paul Pierce Favorite Celtic (All-Time): Larry Bird / Gary Payton

The only part I didn't like was Brad Daugherty's ability to dunk from the 3-point line. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigDave31:</div><div class="quote_post">What was your favorite moment? hmmm, the comeback against New Jersey in the ECF was pretty sweet though! </div> Best moment in the last fifteen years. Boy, did they get up for that game or what?
man, i was watching that game at my friends house, i nearly turned the TV off n walked out, then, it was the comeback... I know that this should be started in another thread, but i really think Antoine Walker should stay with us, i mean, he is the fire and the passion of the team, Pierce is an awesome player, but, without Walker, he played like, without a soul...I think Walker should stay for another 2-3 years, Jefferson would still be able to get quite a few minutes, and he would be able to develop without having such pressure put on him...thats just my thoughts anyway....and also, if Walker is going anywhere, im glad that it may be Miami becuase thats always a team that I liked...anyways, as you guys start yo day off, im going to bed...laters!

I've been a fan since I first moved to Boston in 1973. If my username doesn't clue you in, my current favorite player is Kendrick Perkins. I like big-time rebounders, and Kendrick is definitely going to be one. My All-Time Favorite Celtic would be Dave Cowens. It would be too hard to pick an all-time favorite moment, but my favorite recent moment was Game 4 against Indiana. Kicking Indy's butt with Antoine (who is anything but a favorite of mine) not playing was a hoot.

Yes, I'm young, but I appreciate the better moments of the old days as well. Couldn't agree with you more about Walker, and that B Unit is going to show the league a thing or two.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Worst Celtics Moment: Reggie Lewis passing away in practice I believe. A great guy, R.I.P</div> It was acutally a shootaround with some Northeastern players. That's where he went to school, and he was just there watching a practice and jumped in for a minute. He died on the court.
My mistake. I was young when he passed away, so I didn't hear about him until about 5 years ago, and I'll I heard about him was that he died on the court. I heard he was playing ball with some other players, so I assumed he was practicing.

It was a real tragedy, and it still kind of makes you think, but I can't make myself dwell on it for long. He was a great guy and a great player. The Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury is a fine tribute to him, and it was an honor to run there for years. I was young too, but I remember it like it was yesterday, tough moment.
reply How long have you been a fan? Since the 70's Who is your current favorite player? None Who is your All Time favorite player? Larry Bird What was your favorite moment? Besides the first Championship of the 80's would be the Antoine buzzer beater against the Lakers, beating the Pacers in the 03 playoffs and the game 6 win from the 2005 playoffs. --------------------- .

Just kidding, but it is nice to have another Delonte fan around too, that guy's due this year. I can't wait to see what he contributes. So what do you think, does he start this year? Dickau or no Dickau I say he does.
I hope so. Hes my favorite Celtic player because i think he has the brightest future. Hes also taking on a leader role in the locker room. He is the future team captain.
Snap call How long have you been a fan? Who is your current favorite player? Who is your All Time favorite player? What was your favorite moment? ------------------- I have been a fan since the essential end of the big three, 1992. I didn't follow basketball hugely until Antoine arrived. I know he's a punk, but I still love him. Not my favorite player though, that is... Al Jefferson. Tommy and I have to share the love, but there's enough to go around. And those hands! My all time favorite player mantle is a huge tie: Alaa "I'm from Eqypt" Abdelnaby or Stojko "Chris Ford is poking me in the back as we speak" Vrankovic. There have been other Vrankovii, but none compare to him. My absolute favorite moment (aside from the galvanizing 27 point deficit in Jersey) was Acie Earl dropping forty on the celts when he played for the raps. Whenever the celts are getting pounded by some terrible team, I think of Acie.
