Usually, J O'Neal and Duncan are not the starting C. It seems Amare and Howard are mainly centers now. So far this season,Andris may be a notch ahead of Amare. It hasn't been but a month,so its early to assume a lot.

Whatever Biedrins ranking this year-it's just the start of a great career.
I don't see Andy or POB playing PF much. For now we have Murphy-Ike-Zarko for PF. We will see-later-how far POB has come. I see him at C. Center is the role we have always needed to strengthen. Having 2 great young centers-plus a couple of very good PF's will be great when the target is a championship-not just getting in the playoffs.

Thanks for the video, JV. Can we post this in the video thread to archive it?

Hmmm, the music for this video reminds of playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. Anyone play that game?

Nah, I pretty much just play the new Waiting For Guffman game for the 360. I'm starting to think Guffman isn't coming.

Also, does anybody know why Camby is considered more of a power forward than Biedrins? Camby can shoot the 18-20 footer jump shot. It's either that or go inside for an alley oop or putback dunk (that's his inside game). He is very athletic too. Most centers are a lot slower in comparrison and cannot cover a lot of ground to get to the weakside. Maybe he's a bit of a taller, skinnier Ben Wallace, only not as great in the all-around defensive game or as durable. Still great defensive guy, though.

Dwight Howard is a power forward that could shoot, dribble some, pass, but never really got consistent. Plus, he got bigger, (I think) going from somwhere in the 240 lb range out of high school to a whopping 260-266 lbs range. So he became a center. When you gain that much bulk, you lose some mobility in return for more strength getting position in the box. So he has ability to play both sort of like how they wanted Kwame Brown to play when he was lighter and how Jermaine O'neil plays now at 240 lbs. But Howard has a more forward game because he has applied some abilities as a former guard (first step, ballhandling, passing, outside shooting). He's had a little more KG in his game because of that. Very polished as far as most high school bigs go. Probably due to his great work ethic and high upside. Smart highschooler too. But now he's a center because he's big now and that's what his team needs and what the league needs. I'm sure he can pick up some PF stuff again if he is coordinated enough.

I think the stronger somebody is in the post, the more they can play back to the basket style and just work their way around using quickness and strength to get the other guy off balance and free from the shooting or release side of the hand. Howard can be that guy now. I think he might be pretty polished going opposite side now. I can't remember him.
