She asks every person 'tell me what you were thinking'.

Disappointed Drury couldn't or wouldn't move up to 4 to get Wright when he fell to that spot. He had the pieces to do so IMO.

Last night was a classic example of bad GM's on bad teams overthinking the draft.

I would do Kakko/Nemeth for Miller. I like Kapppo but with guys like Cuylle and Othmann waiting in the wings he's expendable. If the Canucks want too much so be it but I think the Rangers losing $3+ mil of dead space next year they can make JT a n offer if he kicks ass this coming year.

100%. Would have been a tremendous show of assertiveness to trade up to the take him. Instead we just sat on our hands the entire night.

I highly doubt Seattle would have turned down an offer of Lundkvist, Kravtsov and Chytil. Three guys wh0 are young and are NHL ready with lots of upside. If it was a better draft then I agree. If it's a can't miss type of franchise guy. However, 3 teams passed on him and he wasn't the first center taken. For the Rangers it would have made sense. They could sign sign Copp and then develop Wright. Seattle has no defenseman and no PP QB. Lundkvist would fill that role. Chytil would get a ton of icetime there. Kravtsov, who knows. He has the talent if he stops being a pussy.

You could also make the case that Seattle wants to suck beyond belief to give themselves a chance at Bedard. Of course then they would have 3 centers and nothing else.

Honestly that’s a good deal for Philly. He’s a dick but he’s a really good power play quarterback they freaking need one.

Absolutely...he fits their needs and their playing style/attitude. Perfect fit and he should do well there.

Wonder how he'll fit in with Torts, though.

    Hockey wise definitely a talent.

On the surface it looks like they did a nice job in the 2nd and 3rd with some value picks. Sykora draws comparisons to Lehkonen and McConnell is a rangy C who was once mentioned near the late 1st/early 2nd apparently.
