I hope that Curry plays well and stays healthy, but that Trent and Baldwin show enough that we're willing to trade Curry at the deadline to a playoff team that wants him. If we could package Curry's and Meyers' contract for an expiring, that'd be ideal, as it could open up our full MLE next season.

    Examples:
Seth Curry + Meyers Leonard to TOR for Danny Green
Seth Curry + Meyers Leonard + Future 2nds to PHI for Wilson Chandler or Bayless & Filler Salary
Seth Curry + Meyers Leonard to UTAH for Alec Burks
Seth Curry + Meyers Leonard to NOP for Alexis Ajinca + Darius Miller + Emeka Okafor

The lineup then would be something like this:

    Lillard (36) / Baldwin (12)
    McCollum (35) / Baldwin (13) /
    Harkless (28) / Trent (20) / Turner
    Aminu (32) / Collins (10) / Harkless (4)
    Nurkic (30) / Collins (18)

With maybe a player acquired in whatever trade figured in. Baldwin takes over the Evan Turner "distributor" role, and Trent takes over the Seth Curry "shooter" role.

I see similarities! Like Wes he can create his own shot at anytime and plays big down low.

Gary is better offensively. Wes is way better defensively.

Wes was pretty good defensively, at least until he got hurt. Hopefully, Trent won't be a negative in that department.

He's more like a combo of MJ and Drexler than Matthews

I followed Roy at UW because I am an avid Duck, Brandon was good put I didn't think he's be spectacular in the pro's. He was so smart and like Trent had a knack for finding seams and getting his shot off.
Roy was a good rebounding guard too and I think GTjr. will be as well.

I like Trent. He's got good size and good skill. I don't expect him to contribute until two years later though.

Assuming no trades, I think Simons and Trent will have a chance to get minutes next year, Curry will be gone and I don't think Stauskus is really part of the plan at this point.

I have been a big Trent Jr. fan for a few years. I like his game. I always thought it’d take him a couple years to make it, but I think he’s going to surprise folks. Barring injury, I think he’s going to have a better career than Wes (and I love Wes).

Of course, if you ask Trent’s dad, he could be better than MJ. While I don’t agree with that assessment, I would not be surprised to see him make an ASG or two. But he’s several years away from that.

Trent look slow due to he don't rush anything on offense. He keeps his dribble alive until he gets to the place where he wants to attempt his shot. Majority of his 3 ball attempts are catch and shoot and that's fit right in Stotts offense. He can score at all 3 levels. If anything that I don't like he really don't like to use his left hand on anything. Defensely I think he will be average defender at the start he really has quick feet. What seen of him he really don't off ball help a lot. Maybe that's why don't pick up a lot fouls but still it a team defense not individual defense. But guarding his man he pretty good not allowing his man beating him. I am really high about Trent I think he will be a very good 2 way player. Now Simons I don't feel about him the same way. I believe he will be Lou Williams type of player really solid on offense but weak on the defense side. But he still young and can improve that area but right now that where I see him.

I like Gary Jr. I think he’s a legit NBA player.
