We just had the clutches replaced in my wife's 2015 Focus with the DCT, they also replaced the cooling fan. We've had the car back for two weeks.

I drop the undercover and look up where the fan and oil filter are and see oil on the filter. You can't miss the oil, and the dealer had it and didn't notice it. Seriously not impressed, maybe they know about this and ignore it. Because they can't fix it. Well, I fixed it in a half hour so I didn't have to take it back to the dealer.IMG_20170115_160618_01.jpg IMG_20170115_160622_01.jpg image000000_08.jpg image000000_09.jpg

So, they didn't finish machining the block surface. I plugged the holes and used my mini DA sander and some 180 grit sandpaper to sand the grooves out of the sealing surface.

I don't even want to know what kind of sealer the dealer mechanic would slather on it or if he'd have tried to fix the surface.

I have a Ford policy. Never buy another. I am rather slow though, it takes a lot to get me to make a policy
57 Ford,
65 Mustang,
82 Ranger
88 Pick Up.

Lost the trany in everyone of these. It won't happen again.

My 1954 Customline was awesome! 3 on the tree for trany. Found an overdrive trans, mail ordered the kit and rebuilt it.

Fords - I had a '52 F-1 and a '59 F-100. The '59 was not 100x better than the '52.

If you bought a Taurus you might have been the Unabomber.

Man I don't even know what I am looking at, LOL.
A leaky POS car that is close to being a fabulous car with some minor quality control upgrades.

You wouldn't believe how many people who've owned these now have Maris' no Ford policy.

If it continues to drive like it does now it is the perfect compromise for my wife and I. Looks nice and is handy to have a Hatchback and now that the DCT automatic manual transmission works good it is a great car.

It's an engine. Make car go vroom vroom.

If you rev a 2015 Ford Focus in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it go vroom vroom?

Sounds like operator error to me. :dunno:
