When your only argument is "well they celebrated Kirk dying with George Floyd dying" you lose.

Floyd was a person living life, and he wasn't overall a bad person, who got killed by a cop.

Kirk was a racist bigot, misogynistic asshole. It sucks he died, but he put himself in harms way for it with his hateful rhetoric.

One was a person just living in Minnesota.

The other was a racist piece of shit. A bigoted piece of shit. A misogynistic piece of shit.

You dont get to tell people not to celebrate someone dying for spewing hateful rhetoric when that same person didnt give a shit and celebrated George Floyd dying.

You dont get to feign sympathy for a piece of shit and try to talk down to others when people made fun of and celebrated multiple deaths because of the color of their skin.

I dont think he deserved to die for that. But he set himself for that to happen. Just like people who get the death penalty. They set it up. Whether its with words or actions, consequences are there directly or indirectly.

 

Absolutely. I've agreed with this for quite a while, but this Charlie Kirk thing has absolutely put the nail in the coffin of my respect for the religious.

I now consider the open-minded good people who are also religious to be the rare exception.

 

That would be the first example I've heard of any respected person on the left actually being happy about the Charlie Kirk murder.

But a city council member... Lol... I'm not sure how "respected" that is...

 

Why do they have to be respected? She said she hadn't seen anyone celebrating and I have seen quite a few people celebrating...... but I go on Reddit a lot and when it first broke that he had been shot I saw a lot of people saying things.

 

I don't do social media. I just saw public statements. Comments here were deleted before I saw them.

Less reported was Kirk's anti-Semitism. Aside from the usual Jews control the money ( still waiting for my cut) he said Jews treat "white people" the way we are treated.

Jews don't rate as "white people ".

I might be missing something but I haven't seen mobs of Jews in the street shouting death to Christians, killing and raping, burning houses and churches. Or requiring Christians to wear identifying badges. Or outlawing Christian worship. Or locking Christians in ghettos. Or putting Christians in death camps.

I might be missing something. But it sure isn't history.
