No. I highly doubt they’re similar. Mo Cheeks was a worthless coach. He would just sit there during practice while his assistants did all the work. He was a total fraud. McMillan at least would get in there and teach the players. He was extremely involved in practice. Based on what we know about Billups, he seems more of a teacher.

I’m out of the area as well, but lived in Portland my first 40 years and still have a ton of friends and family there. It’s a bit of both to be honest. But I think the Twitter Warriors definitely outweigh the community.

It’s bad optics, and it’s easy to see why some people are upset, but Billups was accused, and that’s it. Are we really out here trying to cancel people because of maybes?

I did think it's about time a woman gets a shot. But some unqualified woman failing helps nobody. There are a lot of women in the world. There are only a few people qualified to be NBA head coaches. Hammon is both.

If she was a white male, she wouldn’t be in the conversation for the Portland job. Or, would these things be ignored in progressive Portland because of her chromosomes? I’m so confused at what I’m supposed to be upset about in people. It seems to change on a whim.
