You must have missed the last Pistons championship a decade ago, they were all about chemistry and not talented up and down the roster like Miami or Boston.

So, I guess the Blazers should wrap their one NBA trophy and send it to the much more talented Sixers of '76-'77.

Quality 37 year old reference. Absolutely NOTHING has changed about the NBA in that time.

Or the Blazers championship. Yeah, they had talent, but the Sixers were supposed to be the best all star studded team of all time. Blazers weren't given a chance. Plus they got hot at the end of the season, just in time.

OK, so I guess I wasn't the first to think of this. ;)

One things for sure, your snark hasn't changed at all despite your being about, what, 15-20 wins off on your prediction about the Blazers' chances this season?

BTW, I didn't notice Maxie's video referencing the championship team before I posted.

The biggest change as it affects the modern playoffs is that now it's more about the star system, biased officiating and maximizing profits than it is about sport. But a guy can still dream. ;)

You mean the one where Dirk played like prime Larry Bird throughout the playoffs? Ok

Yes, I was wrong. This team won a shit load more games early then any rational person thought they would. Then played like most thought they would the whole season in the second half

GREAT Clip. T-Rob needs to listen to old Bill, focus on playing hard D, passing and being a team player. The baskets will come if he does that and plays hard.

And Stotts needs to take a tip from Dr. Jack and start scheming for some fast break points! That's what Rip City is all about.

While he makes some dumb passes for sure, I think Robinson is a really good passer. he seems to have great court vision

Well I think our chemistry, especially the starting 5, are great! There no wonder why all 5 are having career years this season.

Ya know there is a conspiracy about the Mavs and there championship, It's that David Stern was sick of mark Cuban bitching. Might be a good idea for Paul Allen.
