<div class="quote_poster">taurus515th Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">in order to make a trade work we would have to include Hinrich or Wallace along with Gordon, Nocioni, #9 pick to match Kobe's 19,000,000.

If we trade Wallace we are still without a post player, now a center. And how are we suppose to get a post-player if we trade our pick in a Kobe trade?

More than likely we would be in the same position the Lakers are in now.

    PG-Duhon
    SG-Kobe
    SF-Deng
    PF-Thomas
    C-Wallace

    with a terrible bench

This is basically the Lakers with Kobe only are team is better defensively them the Lakers team right now.

    PG-Parker
    SG-Kobe
    SF-Odom
    PF-Bynum
    C-Kwame</div>

Okay throw wallace in there then.

Because IMO hinrich plus kobe plus deng would terrorize the league.

Hinrich is a far superior player then Parker

And deng is a beast thats gonna give you 19 and 9 next year whithout touching the ball.

Then you look at those 3 combined defense. all 3 are top 5 defenders at their posotions.

You say that the bulls would still need a post presence. I disagree with you on that. Kobe and deng would be our post presence. The reason why the lakers sucked so be this year is because those guys couldnt hit shots. when kobe would pass out of the post on double teams.

with the lineup of Kirk deng and bryant you would just need 2 guys who are 7 feet and can rebound. kind of like longley and winnington or kind of like elson for the spurs.

Its looking more realistic that Wright might drop to us at nine, only thing that concerns me is that if Philadelphia sees Wright dropping they will probably trade up with a team like Minnesota to take him.

I actually think Wright will fall, but I think if he falls to 8 Bobcats take him with no hesitation, since hes an NC boy and all.

With Wallace going into free agency I don't think the Bobcats can afford to ass on a swing man in this years draft. With May and Okafor already in the front court I think they would address need over BPA.
