I will be updating the standings after tonights Boston/Bulls game. This is a big game must win. If the Bulls win tonight they will be trailing the 76ers by only a game, and with two games remaining against Philadelphia will be in prime position to make the playoffs.
Back to 1.5 games with the 76ers win today over the Knicks (boy that back to back against the Knicks hurts)
I will be updating the standings after tonight's game against the 76ers. The Bulls could potentially pull to within a half game of the 7th seed Pacers.
76ers have a tough schedule - Washington - at New Jersey - at Miami - at Orlando - New Jersey - at Charlotte. I can see them beating Charlotte, maybe Orlando but that is about it I think.
Bulls are only one game behind Indiana and Milwaukee. Their remaining schedules are - Milwaukee Apr 12 vs Washington - Won Apr 14 at New York - Won Apr 15 vs Atlanta - Lost Apr 17 vs Detroit Apr 18 at Washington Indiana Apr 12 Boston - Won Apr 14 Minnesota - Won Apr 15 at Charlotte - Lost Apr 17 at Toronto Apr 19 Orlando Philadelphia Wed, Apr 12 at New Jersey - Won Apr 14 at Miami - Lost Apr 15 at Orlando - Lost Apr 18 New Jersey Apr 19 at Charlotte Boy this is coming down to the wire. I thought Philly would be done by now. But all teams won today leaving Chicago in a tie with Philly and Pacers/Bucks in a tie with each other and a game in front of Bulls/76ers. We also split the series with both Milwaukee and Indiana, so according to my lack of knowledge we would be below both the Bucks and Pacers if we had the same record due to they both have a better conference record. All team play again Friday so the pressure will be on again for everyone.
essentially 2 games ahead since we have the tie breaker. Even better is we own the tie breaker against the Wizards who have a tough scedules, so we could jump them with another win and they loss.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SP23:</div><div class="quote_post">True. Only have to win 1 more and we locked a spot right?</div> If we win and they loose i think.
Standings Updated. I can’t believe the position this team has played their way into, after being nine games under .500 last month. They have won nine out of their last eleven games, and might finish the season at .500 and possibly the 5th seed. If we end up at the 5th or 6th seed I think a first round victory is very possible. Both the Nets and Cavaliers are vulnerable. We have had some good games against both teams this season, and it would be great to play them in a seven game series. Eddy Curry who?
76ers lost to Orlando. Meaning we are pretty much in the playoffs with another win. Orlando have been on fire though and we got Miami and Orlando still to go. edit - Indiana lost OT to Charlotte 92 - 91.
Philly and Orlando officially eliminated. I will update the standings when the seeds become finalized I can only hope the Bulls can finish the season with a .500 record.
