Didn't see it posted anywhere, so thought I'd let everyone know the "imminent" deal between Chicago and Portland that was supposed to happen Monday seems highly unlikely with Chicago 3-deep now. http://ripcityproject.com/
The best we can hope for would be some 2 or 3 for 1 deal where he gets used as nothing more than a throw-in. I wonder if he'll actually report to camp?
Aside from a draft pick, there's no one on da Bulls we can get- or need for those who might be available to us.
Its obvious that the Rudy value is poor right now. Wait until the Euro League is done and lets see if his value goes up.
Blazers are holding out for Gibson... http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_a...land_wants_gibson_from_chicago_for_fernandez/
I wouldn't mind a trade of Rudy and Dante for Taj and a lottery protected first round pick ... I know that won't get most Bull's fans real excited (and probably a not a lot of Blazers fans either) but I think that's more than fair, considering how much overlap there is between Cunningham and Gibson in skill-set (and talent) and it moves Rudy for at least some kind of asset, which should be Cho's main goal at this point.
