Well in that case, we should really just go back to horses. Much safer. Single riders. How many people died from horse buggy accidents last year? Probably almost none!

 

Probably increase them.. more people driving smaller cars on roadtrips and you'll need three cars to go on vacation. Then in traffic with 18 wheelers the pileups will be disaster.

 

Maybe but per mile traveled it might be a higher death rate. Although cars sharing the road could cause some horse and buggy crashes.

I think psychiatrists charge somewhere around $200/hr. At an hour a week, that's gonna eat up a huge chunk of that money. Now you've got food, medical-dental-eyewear, clothing, utilities, school expenses, etc. eating up probably more than the rest.

 

How about just cars that hold over six people unless you are a specially trained professional driver with a chauffer's license. This pretty much limits excess to buses and bus drivers.

 

I've seen them and they're good. However, they get in my way when I'm in a hurry to get to the next bar.

 

I know kids who'd egg your door for making them actually walk someplace.

 

safest rule would be make everyone just stay home except for delivery drivers...I'd buy a lot of stock in Pizza franchises then

And then something horrible like that junior hockey team accident.

For real though, I feel like we don't regulate truck drivers enough. I see some really shitty truck drivers on the road, and those things are massive killing machines.

 

Oh crap, they'd make me drive.

 

They didn't use to be that way. They were without a doubt the best, most courteous drivers on the road. Then deregulation hit and things went to pot.

 

Might as well invest in places that sell weed, then. You know, munchies?
