Why, instead of actually discussing a topic, and responding when people ask you questions, do you just repeat stupid negative shit like this in the same thread. Hey, hey, let's get back on track of just spouting negative shit. Nobody wants a real discussion on our hands.

Nowhere has he said he has given up. He said precisely what KP said, in that there is absolutely no good reason to sacrifice long term goals for short term goals. Trading away pieces of our future for a very small temporary fix is dumb.

He hasn't given up? Reread the quick article.

There's no need to do a rebuild. Make a few moves and hold your playoff spot.

Where did he say major rebuild? he said he isn't going to sacrifice a future goal for a short term goal. Makes perfect sense, unless you're just intentionally trying to be negative, and trying to look absolute worst possible, even as unrealistic as that may be. A core of LMA, Wes and Batum isn't a 5 year lottery core, but that isn't as negatve to discuss.

Propose some of these moves that they can make (and I don't mean "look, it passes through the trade check so it obviously would happen" moves either). And on top of that, do it so it makes sense for both teams AND keeps them in a viable hunt for the 6th-8th seed.

All depends on melo deal. Need to get Harris somehow. 3 team deal involving miller/pryz.

We also should have gone after gortat. Looks like a stud in making.

Re: So since cho is blowing it up.....

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'd rather support a team that is taking the long-term view over a near sighted one that is going to foolishly mortgage the future for the 'privilege' of getting swept in the first round -- I'll take the one step backward to go (hopefully) two steps forward approach any day.

Have you seen Gerald Wallace lately? He looks like he's entered a steep and precipitous decline.

Yet, he's still averaging 16 & 8 this season. I hear ya on the decline. The entire crux of my trade proposal rested on the balance of Wallace's career vs. the potential of Batum's.

The whole "has to make sense for both teams" apparently was lost in translation.

I've seen him play for Silas ... and I think he's looked pretty good lately, but he still can't guard anybody.

I can tell ya this......Charlotte is losing money bigtime. There's a lot to be said for EC's. Gerald Wallace still has a fair amount in the tank. Nazr and Augustine are having relatively decent seasons. To me, it still boils down to Batum vs. Wallace. That said, I wonder how good Claver will become...if he'll ever play for the Blazers?

I betcha cho trades camby to okc to help out his former team. That sob would do that as a wink wink type trade. And we would get their 2nd rounder. You know there's a chance he does that. I've said all along... Cho cares more about the thunder then us. You NEVER bring in your biggest rivals asst gm. They still will always be for their old team
