I am surprised Rod Thorn hasn't been mentioned. He only quit in NJ because he was being monitored 24/7 by his Russian employer.

When he ignores facts right in front of his face and creates a terrible stance, yes, he has no counter argument.

    Stalker.

This word "facts" ... that's an interesting choice of words.

I haven't read the thread, but Sonic fans considered Cho the highest guy in management they liked. They didn't like President Wally Walker or GM Sund or owners Bennett or Schultz.

But fans also recognized that he's just a statistician, not a talent evaluator. I read that with the Thunder, Presti has given him scouting experience. That's a start, but I don't think 2 seasons is enough.

He is not a lawyer/CBA guy like Penn. He's a stat guy who later learned the CBA.

And he appears to know what he doesn't know.

Would that be Kublai or Ghenghis? Either one conquered two thirds of Eurasia. Not bad.

Looks like I'd better read the thread before I get immersed in this.

Wait we chose him? Gosh and I thought the non-representative media, RNC and DNC winnowed it down to acceptable candidates for the International Banking Catel / Military industrial complex.

What would you call your fictional system? Democracy?

I agree entirely... any currently available GM is a retread or a newbie. That includes Cho and Ferry and KP and Thorn and Jerry West... everyone.

There are valid concerns about how well Cho would do, but that could be said about every and any candidate.

From my perspective, Cho just might be a great GM. He's young and smart and respected and comes from a different angle than many current executives. That difference just might give us an advantage until the other teams catch up.

If he does poorly? Oh, well. There will always be other candidates next time around, but Cho might not be around if we replace a retread who flops (PatterNash).

LMAO. OH I literally lol'd when I read that.

This thread just got a tad too racist for my liking earlier on. As Oldmangrouch said, the guy could be purple with a third testicle on his forehead. As long as he can run the team competently I'm all for it. I'm a Cho fan thanks to you and others converting me.

Is it too late to use a retread political campaign motto?

Cho gets it, Cho gets it DONE!

I think cause they drafted Kevin Durant.

It's insane. OKC hasn't had to contend with HALF of what Portland has had to and we fired our GM for their asst. GM.

There isn't a single thing OKC has done better than Portland yet. Not a single thing and we're firing our people for theirs.

    It's fucking stunning.

I think they've utilized their cap space better, and I give Cho credit for that development.
