Mikan's career was very short. He only played in 439 games and was a 4-time all star.

Shayes had a much longer career - 996 games, 12 time all star.

Mikan had a better peak, but it was much shorter.

    Could have gone either way.

No question about it, B all the way. That team just shouts offense and jiller defense!

Plus that's the team you want to see the fist fight started to get in their appointments heads!

It’s B, but if all healthy and in their prime I think you guys are forgetting how good Kobe/Duncan were....and Shaq. If they had someone else besides McGarbage I would think longer.

    B-14 rings
    C-14 rings

And remember all of group C who won rings won at least 1 without anyone else in their group, unlike Pip.

    The question should be...

    A. Steph/Lebron

    B. Jordan/Hakeem

    C. Kobe/Duncan

I really wish Jordan/Kobe would have played against each other during their primes.

I would have loved to have seen prime Wilt go against prime Shaq. Having seen both (granted Wilt was already past his peak), I think Wilt would have destroyed Shaq. He could have easily matched Shaq's strength and size, but was much faster and more athletic. I think it would have instantly silenced Shaq's self-proclaimed "Most Dominat Ever" rhetoric.

I remember watching 35-year old Wilt block Kareem's sky hook multiple times in the 1972 WCF. Prior to that, the sky hook had been considered unstoppable. By then, Wilt wasn't nearly the dominant scorer he'd been in his 20s, but he was till the best defender and rebounder in the league. The Lakers eliminated the defending champs in 6 games and went on to defeat the Knicks 4-1 in the finals, with Wilt capturing the Finals MVP award while averaging 19.2 ppg and 23.2 rpg - at nearly 36 years of age. Too bad they didn't keep track of blocks back then.
