So Cho and Oden are now in a "relationship"? Not that there is anything wrong with that...

I wasn't really upset with him or anything. I'm just saying he's really reserved in his interviews, and never gives out any info, other than that he's going to do what's best for the organization. Bringing him on radio to interview, and then writing down a word for word transcript of it seems pointless. (Which is totally fine with me, btw)

I like the fact he is telling it like it is instead of just blowing sunshine up your ass. Hell if KP was here, Greg would probably already be taking part in 5 on 5 practices that nobody has seen.

Good read. Thanks for posting it, ABM. I liked his answer to many of the questions--open and frank with the facts at hand, but guarded about predicting what he can't control.

You're about as fun as a stick aren't you?

I didn't say HE was supposed to be exciting. I said "exciting times."

Is this the part where you tell me following a basketball team isn't supposed to be exciting either?

It is important to remember the Cho is a lawyer, and he often speaks like one. People need to get used to it. He is not likely to answer beyond the minimum needed and will not likely speculate about something that he really doesn't know (Will Oden be ready). He is not a Yes Man, he is an attorney.

You know what is sad is when a bus load of lawyers goes over a cliff, and 2 seats are empty.:devilwink:

Ah, my fault for assuming that you (a perpetual Cho basher) would be commenting about Cho in a thread about Cho.

    I'll condense that.

Cho [said]...Greg Oden was "on schedule"...but that he was unable to provide a recovery timeline [also known as a schedule]...[other than] "Eventually."

Let's call it "Oden's Eventually schedule." He is the slowest healer in history.

You have about as much sense as a stick as well. Find one time I've ever "bashed" him. Just one.

I've never bashed Cho once. I don't know the first thing about him and still don't.

I've continually bashed our management/ownership as a bunch of know nothing, egotistical, insecure fuckwits who fired a perfectly good GM on the cusp of a championship run and replaced him with an inexperienced version of that GM.

Man, am I glad they canned that bum Pritchard. Now the Oregonian has to rebuild its power base in its quest to run the team without paying for it.

Yes, Cho is a boring talker, because the media bores him. That was all Pritchard could do, be a self-praising media whore. I hope Cho works more behind the scenes, like Whitsitt. Trades, not talk.

Maybe Miller should put the Public Relations staff out there instead.

    Um, link?

You'd make a terrific fluffer for good old Paul. You're a stooge.

All you talk about is media coverage, newspapers and interviews. Very odd for someone who claims to hate these things so much.

OMG I'M SO FUCKING PUMPED AFTER WATCHING THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In addition, if it's not totally clear to you as a fan, what a cluster fuck this organization is after listening to Larry Miller, you're beyond help.

"Kevin recommended the trade erm... ah.. actually, Kevin and I discussed it FIRST and then we recommended it and then were talking to Paul about it."

Then going on about "It's always Paul's final decision... remember it's HIS money going into it."

Jesus fucking wept. NOBODY FUCKING CARES. WIN A PLAYOFF SERIES YOU DICKS.

There were only ever 2 media whores in that organizations, and they're still there.

There have been plenty of opportunities to learn about him... that you "don't know the first thing about him" is either willful ignorance on your part or an inability to retain basic information.

That's a fucking laugh riot after your first two posts aimed at me.

So now you've decided to put a faux attack on my ability to retain information because you've failed so miserably in this thread.

    Brilliant.

I don't care about anything re: Cho except for what he does for the basketball team I root for. So far, there's nothing to applaud or criticize.

See, you're still wrong. What's next? The shirt I'm wearing?

I guess I know that he can't make up his mind regarding what to order in restaurants.

    Couldn't care less.

You're claiming you don't know anything about him. That is bashing his record as a successful Assistant GM and highly thought-of GM candidate.

It's clear that you couldn't care less about many things, but that apathy does not make your comments more correct.

If, as you admit, you're posting from a position of ignorance, why do you even bother? Why not take some time and do some research to learn about him? A good start would be to read the posts and articles that have been posted about his background and experience.

The link is in the post before mine. Your memory must be very, very short-term to have missed it. Then in the next post you show the same link and agree with my statement.

    Link to those two falsehoods?
