    Ed never debates from a position of ignorance. Well, except when he thinks that Breaks of the Game was written by Bill Simmons, and that as a Blazer fan, it wouldn't be worth his time. ;)

    I was clearly talking about Simmons and I confused the Halberstam's book title (which you mentioned) with Simmons's book title.

    At 2:00 AM on a Saturday night/Sunday morning.

    If that's the biggest mistake I make on this board then I'm pretty pleased with myself... but I have no illusion that that will be the case.

    At least you admit that you are ignorant. That's a start. Next step, reading The Book of Basketball and actually learning something about the game. :)

    Is The Book of Basketball good? Maybe. I dunno. I haven't read it. I read a lot of other things, though, where I have greater confidence it's worth my time...
