He took steroids, drugs, medication.. all of that sh*t, and the effects were catching up to him - he finally snapped and killed his family. There has been about 50 pro-wrestlers that have died before age 45 because they are all jacked up on steroids, drugs, pain killers, etc.. Its f*cking ridiulous, and Its sad that these idiots do this to their body just to be famous and sh*t..
I'm interested to find out what drives a man to potentially kill his whole family. From what his co-workers say he was a great guy and loved by everyone and a legend in his business. We'll find out soon enough I guess.
Damn, this is terrible sh*t....I used to idolize this guy when I watched wrestling because he was Canadian, and no one could stop the Crippler Cross Face...It's just sad that he was sick enough to do this to his family. I still don't know the circumstances so it is hard for me to throw out names right now. It's just really sad to hear about this...:no3:
I heard that his wife killed his son and he cam home and then killed her. So now he was left alone killed himself
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I liked the guy and all but why are people so sad about his death and paying so much respect to him?He was 99% on steroids and he was 99% the one who killed his son, his wife and himself. I don't see how he's a hero for that. He was a wrestling legend in a way but I don't understand why he's being worshipped for this. He (probably) killed his wife and son for pete's sake.</div>99%? Benoit has never been linked to steroids and this is not a steroids related death as far as I'm concerned. And everything so far on this situation has been deemed speculation. Nothing is set in stone, and is still being investigated into to. There's been so many different reports and scenarios, you can't take any of it as facts, especially 99%. Now if this happens to be true after autopsy reports and police come out with a statement, then I've lost all my respect for the guy as a person, but not as a performer in the ring after all these years. With that said, I still doubt the reports(when a another wrestler/friend says he would trust Benoit with his own kids, and to hear Benoit kill his own, none of it adds up). <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>There has been about 50 pro-wrestlers that have died before age 45 because they are all jacked up on steroids, drugs, pain killers, etc.. We'll know whether or not Benoit is a killer.

Chris Benoit just left a black mark on his career and wrestling as we know it. Shocked to hear about the roids, now the generalization with wrestlers and roids will even be more cemented in non fans. Despite, not everyone doing it and how it effects other sports as well(kingjamez).

It was easy to see how lenient they were with it. I just didn't look at Benoit as a guy who used them, he's always been in the same shape. I don't remember any noticeable change that spelled roid user.

this was posted at OTR before that someone found<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>My second cousin is an officer with GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) and what he's heard in his circle is that Chirs Benoit's wife killed their son Daniel, called Chris and told him to rush home because of an emergency which is why he missed last Sunday's Vengeance PPV. Upon arriving home Benoit killed his wife in a rage for the death of his son and then killed himself Monday morning. His wife's body was found in the master bedroom, strangled with the cord from an alarm clock. The son's body was found in his room appearantly suffocated with a garbage bag. Chris then wrote a suicide note explaining what had happened, apologized to his family, his other children (from a seperate relationship), and his fans. He then fasioned a slip-knot noose from from rope taken from the garage and hung himself from the ballaster in the foyer of his suburban Atlanta home.</div>

He could have been a user for a long time...not to mention people in other sports take steriods and they don't have a noticable change....or even look like they take steriods. -------------- Everytime I see Amare320's sig I want to puke. It's no secret that steroids run rampant in the WWE. I haven't watched it in a while so I don't know much about the new wrestlers, but I have seen these types during my time watching:
