She's considered one of those smoothy, woozy, oozy jazz artists. No way like the real stuff.....such as Thelonious Monk, one of my all-time faves. As an aside, from a theorist standpoint, if you ever looked at the sheet music for some of his pieces, you'd probably say, there's NO way this is music. Looks more like mayhem. Nonetheless, it plays......and plays very well, I might add.
