Flat Tax, only deduction would be for dependants regardless if married or not. Everyone pay the same %. Zero write offs for for business, churches, home owners, ect.
That way its proportionate with gross income. So the young person making 30K a year gross pays a percentage 5% as example = $1500. Or the Corporation grossing $750,000,000. = $37500,000. Or a middle class family in Oregon combine no kids, gross income of $125000. = $6250.
No more screwy confusing tax laws except maybe State income tax.
    Send in on 3x5 card
These Churches, Corporations, Non Profits pay taxes.

Lol. Good fucking luck. Our government is dangerously, mind-numbingly incapable of caring for its citizens. Your beloved tax dollars get pissed away dropping bombs on women and children overseas while people in our own country can’t go to the doctor, live on the streets and sit in prison cells for nothing. The media makes sure everyone is on board with it though...talk about a brainwash brigade. What country do you live in?

Most churches do a lot of charity work thereby relieving the government of some of that burden. I see no need to tax them for their good work. Their for profit endeavors need to be taxed. I could even see them being taxed somehow to pay for their police and fire protection. It's a complicated subject and I see no easy answers. Some of you guys with brains more massive than even mine need to work this out just don't expect Oral Roberts, Jerry Falwell, Franklin Graham, Jim Bakker or Pat Robertson to add anything worthwhile. I'd recommend looking to the Pope for something decent and no, I'm not Catholic, kind of close but not really Catholic.

Trumpers have a problem. 100,000 dead Americans and counting plus 30 million unemployed isn't the kind of results most people want another four years of. It's hardly greatness. So they have to change the subject and make shit up so maybe we won't notice what a total incompetent Trump is.

He spent the weekend golfing and rage tweeting insults at various women, Mueller, Columbia University, among others. Notably absent was a single word acknowledging 100,000 dead Americans. No condolences. He's been more outraged over a Saturday night live skit.

Well, for what it's worth, he'll be speaking at Ft. McHenry today.

Not sure why Trump would choose to go to Baltimore, the very same place that he called "a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" and then went on to insult Elijah Cummings.

I believe the original thought behind not taxing churches was that so they wouldn't have any connection to the government (separation of church and state).

But it's pretty obvious church/religion has a stronghold on our government (imho, unnecessarily). Since that is the case, tax em.

Or make them not-for-profit, and run and operated like a not-for-profit where 100% of the money they make in a year goes to pay salaries and help others.
