Trevor Noah tears apart Peter Strzok's opportunistic GoFundMe campaign

    (AP/Comedy Central)

"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah had a few choice words for former FBI agent Peter Strzok's new GoFundMe page.

Strzok was fired from the FBI earlier this month after it was revealed the agent, who was assigned to both the investigation into Clinton’s personal email server and the special counsel’s probe into potential collusion between Trump officials and Russia during the election, exchanged anti-Trump text messages with senior FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

The GoFundMe campaign was set up by friends of the former agent in order to raise money for "legal costs and his lost income." The campaign has raised more than $430,000 as of Friday afternoon. The initial ask was $150,000.

Noah, who is no fan of President Trump himself, criticized the campaign as opportunistic and suggested there were more important causes for people to give their money towards on GoFundMe.

"Because seriously, half a million dollars on a GoFundMe just for hating Donald Trump…! There are cancer patients on that site that are like, ‘Hey! We hate him too, can you help me pay for my treatment?'" Noah asked.

"Daily Show" correspondent Michael Kosta chimed in, "I get it. People are desperate for something that can hurt Trump even a little bit. But that's how scams work, by preying on the most desperate.

"Take James Comey. For a year, everyone is furious at that seven-foot freak for basically getting Trump elected. Then he writes a book saying he actually hates Trump, and the Resistance starts making it rain," Kosta added.

Weekly Update: Strzok Drafted Comey’s Letter to Congress About Weiner’s Laptop
    SEPTEMBER 07, 2018

Strzok’s ‘Fingerprints’ Are on Comey’s Letter About the Weiner Laptop
We have added two new pieces to the giant jigsaw puzzle showing the effort to undermine President Trump. They show more of the workings of the disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and fired FBI official Peter Strzok.

We have released 424 pages of FBI records, including an email revealing that Strzok created the initial draft of the October 2016 letter Comey sent to Congress notifying lawmakers of the discovery of Hillary Clinton emails on the laptop of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner.

Another email suggests that the FBI had not yet completed its review of Clinton’s emails by the time Comey sent a second letter to Congress on November 6, 2016, reconfirming his belief that Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be charged with a crime.

The records were produced as a result of a June 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the DOJ failed to respond to a September 1, 2017, request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-01448)). Judicial Watch is seeking:

    1. All drafts of James Comey’s statement closing the Clinton email investigation, from his original draft in April or May 2016 to the final version.
    2. All records of communications between or among FBI officials regarding Comey’s draft statement closing the Clinton email investigation, including all memoranda and/or analyses of the factual and/or legal justification for his July 5, 2016 announcement regarding his decision not to seek Mrs. Clinton’s prosecution.
    3. All records previously provided to the Office of Special Counsel in the course of its now-closed Hatch Act investigation of Mr. Comey.

The documents reveal that on October 27, 2016, Peter Strzok emailed other senior FBI officials a draft notice letter from Comey to Congress about the Weiner laptop discovery and the reopening of the Clinton investigation. The emails indicated that Strzok and another official Jon (Last Name Unknown) authored the notification to Congress. The notification, according the DOJ IG, came a full month after the emails were discovered by the FBI on the Weiner laptop.

According to the documents, at 11:04 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, FBI Chief of Staff James Rybicki sent Comey an email containing a redacted draft document which he referred to as a “New Proposal” saying: “Folks, Per our 1000pm conversation, below is a revised straw man for discussion. Again, we could use this if the review when completed supports our conclusions. My comments again in ALL CAPS and bold italics.”

Rybicki’s “New Proposal … straw man” apparently refers to a draft of Comey’s letter to Congress concerning the FBI’s review of the 650,000 Clinton emails found on Weiner’s laptop. At the time of the Rybicki email, Comey was preparing his letter informing Congress of the FBI’s findings, and according to page 390 of the June 2018 report from the DOJ Office of the Inspector General, the deliberations regarding the letter began on the afternoon of November 3 and concluded “very early on November 6.”

Despite Rybicki’s email suggesting late on November 5 that the review of the new emails had not been completed, Comey’s November 6 letter to Congress stated, “[W]e reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State. Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton.”

Comey’s “conclusions” in July were that no charges should be filed against Clinton, despite her repeatedly having sent classified information over her unsecured, non-State-Department server. Comey later admitted that he had drafted his July exoneration more than a month earlier.

RealClear Investigations’ reporter Paul Sperry recently reported that “only 3,077 of the 694,000 emails [found on the Weiner laptop] were directly reviewed for classified or incriminating information. Three FBI officials completed that work in a single 12-hour spurt the day before Comey again cleared Clinton of criminal charges.”

These new documents provide more details of the corrupt and dishonest FBI investigation of the incredible revelations that Clinton’s classified and other emails were present on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. When will the Sessions DOJ and Wray FBI finally begin an honest investigation of Hillary Clinton’s national security crimes?

In a related Judicial Watch lawsuit, the State Department told the court in October 2017: “The State Department identified approximately 2,800 work-related documents among the documents provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

In January 2018, in accordance with a court order, the State Department began turning Weiner emails over to us. Initially, 18 classified emails were found in the 798 documents produced by the State Department.

Further examples of our work in this case on your behalf can be found here.

Assistant Attorney General Under Investigation, Unable To Utilize FISA Warrants?
    Date: September 11, 2018Author: Nwo Report0 Comments
Rumors abound that Rosenstein is in for serious issues, and this may just be the tip of the iceberg.

    by Austin Lewis

Since President Donald Trump took office, it seems like Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General, has sought to work against both the President and the Republican party in a number of ways, including by refusing to hand over documents. However, if the claim made by former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova on Sean Hannity’s show last night is correct, it could be even worse.

According to diGenova, Rosenstein is under investigation for something related to Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants. More interesting still, the Deputy Attorney General is, allegedly, no longer able to take part in the issuance of such warrants, due to a ‘big problem’ utilizing them before, and possibly even lying to the FISA courts!

On the Wednesday night show, Hannity was discussing whether or not the Federal Bureau of Investigation ever made a good faith effort to “verify or corroborate” information that they utilized to seek FISA warrants, which allowed them to surveil members of a political campaign.

He added that if they didn’t make an attempt to do either, then the various members of the FBI perpetrated a fraud on as many as four FISA court judges and politicized the Department of Justice and the Bureau.

His guest, Joe diGenova, replied, and said that it was fairly obvious some sort of fraud had occurred, and that there wasn’t any doubt about it.

He also talked about John Huber, the man who was supposed to investigate the Uranium One deal and allegations that the Clinton family and their foundation profited from it.

According to the former U.S. Attorney, Huber neglected to interview important individuals involved.

Perhaps the biggest announcement, however, was his statement that Rosenstein is under investigation, and that now he is not even able to utilize FISA warrants, even though he is the number 2 individual in the DOJ.

DiGenova said that Rosenstein is under investigation for things related to the warrants.

He described the ‘department’ (of Justice) as being “in freefall,” and called what was going on there a travesty of “immense proportions.”

He also made an important point about Jeff Sessions and his role in all of this.

Specifically, he pointed out that Sessions had no role, and that due to the way that he recused himself, there was not much that the Attorney General could do one way or another.

Sara Carter, who was also on the show, said that although she had not confirmed diGenova’s claims, she had heard similar claims about Rosenstein and what had happened to him.

DiGenova also mentioned Congressman Mark Meadows, a republican from North Carolina, and said that he deserved “all kinds of medals” for continuing to look into the FISA applications that seemed almost designed to target members of the Donald Trump campaign in the months and weeks before the election.

He said that Congress needs to demand a “federal grand investigation” into the FISA processes, everything done about it before the election, and everything done with it after the election, including allegations of lying to the secretive FISA Courts in order to get FISA warrants.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the New York Times article about the high-ranking ‘resister’ who claims that they’re on President Trump’s staff at the White House is subversion, in his opinion, which is certainly hard to disagree with.

The article talked about people who were undermining the Commander-in-Chief in his own administration, and others have talked about simply removing paperwork from the desk of President Donald J. Trump in order to prevent him from being able to sign it.

Most importantly, though, if diGenova is correct about Rosenstein being under investigation, and being barred from utilizing FISA warrants, it could indicate a number of changes.

Firstly, it could indicate that finally, the infamously tight-lipped ‘FISA’ proceedings may be better regulated than they currently are. After all, many people agree that if a number of Barack Obama administration officials and appointees were able to abuse the system to use unconfirmed dossiers filled with political attack material and funded by a major party, to spy on a political campaign, something, ANYTHING should change.

Senator Rand Paul, the junior republican Senator from Kentucky, has repeatedly said that FISA warrants were overutilized to spy on Americans and that they were a lawless method to surveil people without having to prove, in an open court of law, necessity or wrongdoing.

However, rumors are swirling that this is only the beginning of a greater discovery concerning the deep state, the Barack Obama administration, and the unethical targeting of Donald Trump’s campaign.

Wait a minute Maris, I thought Huber was your hero, and that he had tens of thousands of sealed indictments!

Now we hear that he's not even been doing his job.

    Fascinating.

Trump orders feds to declassify key FISA documents, text messages in FBI Russia probe
    [IMG]
By Samuel Chamberlain | Fox News

President Trump on Monday ordered the declassification of several key documents related to the FBI's probe of Russian actions during the 2016 presidential election, including 21 pages of an application for a renewed surveillance warrant against former campaign aide Carter Page, and text messages from disgraced FBI figures Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump had ordered the documents released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Justice Department "[a]t the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency."

The documents to be declassified also include all FBI reports on interviews with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all other applications to surveil Carter Page.

Trump also ordered the Justice Department to release text messages from a number of the key players in the Russia investigation "without redaction" -- including Ohr, Strzok, Lisa Page, former FBI Director James Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

House Republicans have repeatedly sought more information about Ohr's contacts with former British spy Christopher Steele, a longtime FBI informant who compiled the now-infamous dossier alleging various ties between Trump and Russia that was published in January 2017.

It was not immediately clear when or how the documents would be released. A source familiar with the timing of the declassification told Fox News that they expected the Carter Page warrant application to be declassified first, followed by the FBI reports on agent interviews with Ohr.

The source added that the Justice Department is working on a "compressed timeline" and they expect the first release of records in days or sooner. The text messages are expected to take longer because of the sheer number involved and the fact that Trump ordered their release without redactions.

Congressional sources told Fox News that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., does not know how soon he will get the documents, but said Trump's order covers "pretty much everything that he wanted ... and the text messages are a bonus."

According to the sources, Nunes added: "Wow! This is a direct order."

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., the leader of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, praised Trump's order to declassify the documents.

"As Congress has investigated, we've continued to see more and more troubling evidence suggesting multiple senior level FBI and DOJ officials acted in a deeply unethical fashion during the 2016 campaign and throughout the early stages of the Trump administration," Meadows said. "Enough is enough--the time for full transparency is now. Let's bring the full truth to light, while protecting sources and methods, and allow the American people to judge for themselves."

Meadows is one of 12 GOP members of Congress who earlier this month publicly asked Trump to declassify the June 2017 application for a warrant against Carter Page as well as the FBI reports of interviews with Ohr, known in bureaucratic parlance as "Form 302s."

On Sunday, Nunes told Fox News that witness interview transcripts and other documents from that committee's now-concluded Russia investigation should be made public before November's midterm elections.

"If the president wants the American people to really understand just how broad and invasive this investigation has been to many Americans and how unfair it has been, he has no choice but to declassify," Nunes said on "Sunday Morning Futures."

House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said last week that it would be "beneficial" for Americans to see those documents.

Fox News' Jake Gibson, John Roberts and Catherine Herridge contributed to this report.

When will the democrats get all of the rest of the Kavanaugh documents they requested? They only got 10%. What are the Pubes trying to hide and do you think it's appropriate for them to withhold those documents in such an important case?

Nunes, isn't that the guy that released the memos that bombed? Now that's a real credible guy. Wonder if he is out looking for a new job. It appears his days in the Washington could be numbered.

Fox News again? You show us no mercy with your ruthless use of the facts as so clearly laid out by Fox News. Foiled again.

Edit: And what a brilliant stroke citing Carter Page a man you can trust.

Edit2: Hannity? Now, you're bringing out the big guns.
