    eeww!

If it's one thing I hate, it's Chinese-made fans. I have an "American-assembled" Air King model 9214, and it's one of the best things I've ever bought. Costs a small fortune ($80 or $90, IIRC), but well worth it.

So far, I haven't been able to find out if the motor was made in China. But it's ball-bearing, and smooth as butter. Quiet and powerful as well.

Comey helped Trump win. If he'd put her on trial like he should have, Sanders would be president now.

If we properly vetted candidates before they could waste our time and money we might have had a deeper field, this was the weakest field I can remember. It should be much more difficult to qualify to run for president. That all this baggage even exists throughout an election is the tragedy and failure of the system

Who is going to vet these candidates?

    How about I do it?

If you think not, then nobody should have that kind of power.

let's say the email scandal of Clinton should have been transparent and cleared long before she could be a presidential candidate...Trump's baggage, whatever conflicts of interest if there are any shouldn't be an issue after an election..all should be cleared up before the campaign begins and campaigning then should stick to policy matters, not slander and ghosts in the closet....if we've evolved into the modern civil nation we claim to be at least....so far, it's been disappointing

I'd never dispute that..other than I think most of us know....what I question is the Trump masquerade ball of character he's trying to sell....I haven't bid on that yet

The vetting process is 2 years of campaign and the dirty tricks by the opposition.

If there's dirt, they'll find it.

It's only tough if the person is in government - they have the power and powerful friends (and assistants) who can cover things up.

I still think a year and a half campaign is ridiculous...couple months..vote...move on. Most of the spin is out of boredom and burnout. By the time they take office, they're already punch drunk
