The new president seems to want the opposite of having to cower under our desks (at school) and radiation fallout shelters. The would-have-been/loser was pushing us toward conflict.
The flip side of the fear of nuclear war was the fear of Russians invading this country, raping your mother and killing your father. Maybe ridiculous but those were a child's fears. This new president seems to want us under the Russians thumbs, so long as he can continue to wheel and deal however he sees fit. Anyone who trusts the Russian government is as stupid as anyone who trusts the American government.
This president has made it clear he wants a good relationship with Russia and that he will make good deals with other nations. It might be constructive to figure out what the Russians want and their motivations. I don't think they want war with the US at all.
Geez! We should take a moment to let this sink in! Perhaps even take time to see if it might be possible. Put Lindsey Graham, John McCain, most of the Democrats and the CIA in time out until the new team takes a look. Perhaps it is even possible to use the Russian's and Putin, with his ego for something useful once the survey is taken.
Right, because nobody in the American government in either party going back 50 years or more has ever spent any time thinking about Russia. Taking a fresh look is always good. But assuming that all data and analysis obtained to date is worthless is very, very bad. barfo
It's satire Chris, not at all real, and not even very good satire at that. But since Dems don't have a sense of humor, as you've just demonstrated, let's just call it FAKE NEWS. And if you are influenced by any famous artist more than the people you actually know I'm sorry you had no better role models in your life. The odds must be astronomical. To be that good at something, you have to put everything into it, all the time. You can never live like a normal person. Which means you can't possibly carry your own weight in the rest of the world. Other people in your life end up having to do your share on top of their share. Marriages fail, kids end up in jail or rehab...or they each live with your exes in 3 different states. Doesn't make them bad people, they're amazing people and usually very nice and open, and great art benefits all of us. But for most people, a leader is someone you feel confident knows about YOUR life and how to improve it. From childhood to retirement they never live anything similar to your life. They should be asking you for advice, not the other way around.
Well the best part is that all of these Dems seem to want war with Russia.... Smart idea.... riiiiiiiiiggggggggghhhhhhhtttt...
