Yes it's much different. Although it is still a concern. The foot gives you the ability to control your drives. An ailing foot can make players much slower; IMO. But if I was to have a choice; I would rather the foot be injured than the knee.
Casey Holdahl @CHold McCollum said he did have a screw inserted to repair his previous fifth metatarsal break
Joe Freeman @BlazerFreeman McCollum said he and #Blazers will seek advice of 2 independent doctors - one in California, one in Charlotte - to decide course of action.
Joe Freeman @BlazerFreeman McCollum said this L foot injury & previous L foot injury feel much different. First time, he cried. This time, he thought he sprained ankle
Joe Freeman @BlazerFreeman #Blazers do daily testing on feet & McCollum said: "I was one of the more even guys in terms of strength & distribution between both feet."
Don't like the sounds of that. Sounds like season ending surgery. Fuck, maybe he should just go ahead and retire right now....get it over with.
Note to Blazers: Starting now, NEVER NEVER NEVER draft a player with any kind of injury history. Period. Thank you.
We wanted a PG last year, we totally should have drafted Kendall Marshall instead of that stupid Lillard injury man.
