Glad we drafted Lillard in spite of his injuries.

How about Oden or Bowie? If we'd avoided those injury-prone players we would have gotten Jordan and Durant. This franchise has been cursed by injuries, and it's time we learned our lesson.

Damn! Was looking forward to seeing what he could add to the Blazers. Reading between the lines, sounds like he will be out for the year. Hope I'm wrong.

    Going to re-evaluate this tanking theory . . .

Losing CJ sucks, but I don't think he impacts our wins drastically. It was going to be a challenge to find minutes for all our guards with CJ healthy, now it just opens up minutes for Mo Williams, Wes, and possibly Barton or Crabbe. I think we'll be fine.

agreed, as long as we don't lose LMA, RoLo, or Lillard for extended games I think we're deep enough to be resilient. Though, in retrospect it's pretty lucky we signed Mo Williams with the vet. min. (or whatever) with our last roster spot instead of say a center as I was hoping.

Huge signing. Mo will be crucial to our success. His ability to play with Lillard will be significant, as well as provide scoring with the second unit.
