They're dining with Chris Haynes.
Well that was pretty short. Nice to get the publicity I guess.
They seemed like a couple of Dons out there eating soup and firing back a Haynes. I thought it was fantastic.
Haynes: "What you guys have been doing as of lately, I didn't anticipate you guys even being anywhere close..."
CJ: "What did you anticipate, Chris?"
Dame: "That's a great question."
Love it. They won't even let the slights slide during a relaxed dinner
Steve Blake intensity
That was funny.
I hope there are more segments to that interview, it was quite short.
They even have chemistry in their social world too...!
I only saw the promo for this. Sorry but the guy just seems so shady to me. Maybe he will get better but Chris bugs me in a Peter Vecsey kind of way.
Here's the link -
I thought they both came across pretty good. Humble but confident.
That is the attitude of Champions! Bravo!
My favorite part was right after the segment....
Neil Everett-“I was born in Portland, I wonder what woulda happened if they drafted Durant”
Jesus....we get it.
Durant would have left us for the first team that beat us.
and we never would've gotten Dame
There will be a podcast with the full version. Haynes did one with Durant and Mike Beasley last week and it was pretty good to hear those guys in a candid setting.
Ball don't lie!
Wish it was at Ringside instead of El Gaucho's.
It's not perfect, but I get a Fresh-Prince-and-Carlton-10-years-later vibe...
That place is a ripoff. $66 bucks (last time I went) for a flavorless rib eye?
Shheeeeeiiiiit.... My ex wife makes a way better steak than they ever will.
CJ: “you can’t argue wins and losses”
MM (holding a sheet with every opponent’s missing starters): “erm, actually...”
