Back to our goody-two-shoes overpaid guard repeatedly interviewing the Commissioner. Remember the kid who always tried to please the teacher by bringing her an apple every day?

If people could come together with their guards down and not try and provoke the other side , much could be done. It would need to be a humble approach from all sides. Only then, imo would something get done. Thats why Kap disappointed me, not because of what he wanted addressed but after his initial knee he instigated the a different message and its why he's not playing today.

Oh come on! You mean every kid that wants to be a journalist and learn by doing, and in CJ case takes advantage of a great opportunity, wants to be teachers pet!
I remember some of those teacher pleasers and practically non would be the super competitive type.

dviss1, thanks for sharing, powerful messages for sure.
When these kind of messages are presented to the public I believe they are very powerful in a constructive, conciliatory way.
As a nation we need to have more of these types of messages.
To me, Its when the heat is turned up with derogatory remarks and jesters, which is counter productive. And I include my self, because i get all stirred up on things and do the same.
I guess my hope is that we'd come together as a nation and people and put aside combat insightful tactics to piss off the other side.
People need to be reasonable and respectful on all issues and be willing to work hard for change. We need to be slow to speak and quick to listen.

To get experience and learn by doing, he should stop interviewing the same person over and over.

Super-competitive? First he should try being a little competitive! He can't play any safer than using interviews as an excuse to get in good with the boss.

A true journalist would take risks and raise controversy instead of always being conservative. Why doesn't McCollum interview...Colin Kaepernick.

An interview with Kap would be interesting.
You don't think his interview with KD showed risk?
How about his remarks while being interviewed by , Chinese, where he expressed his thoughts on super teams.
I think the kid is going to be an excellent journalist/commentator, but right now he's a world class professional round ball player.
    I'll give him props.

I don't think that word means what you think it means. It sounds like it should be bad, but most frequently translates to Mighty Hunter--kind of the opposite of Canzano.

True, but it’s got a more common colloquial connotation, as stated in this from Wikipedia:

Canzano as Elmer Fudd? Yeah, I can relate to that.

Wile E. Coyote, obviously. No matter what he tries, he just can't snare that fast and elusive free agent he's chasing.

We studied this last midnight at the Church of Bob Bible study. Nimrod was the Babylonian name of God. Start at 5:50. The mentions of Nimrod tail off by 9:00 but don't really end till 11:00. Note the chart at 11:40.
