Is it just me or he looked decent on defense today at times? Sorry, I was too busy watching Turner man handle Lebron.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Everyone looked decent on defense today. Hard to hold one of the strongest offensive teams to under 90 without a great defensive effort from most of the roster.

    Hope it lasts.

I think CJ should be All Star. He probably won't but by end of season, we will have a better record and CJ could make All NBA.

Even on a CJ appreciate Thread there are still Dame lovers knocking him down. Dame is a good player no doubt, but you have to stop with the .09 blinders. CJ has only played a year and half of real minutes. He is grown alot in such a little amount of time. How much has Dame grown? Other then taking more shots since LA, Wes and Nic have left. He is still a crappy defender, and take to many heat checks. CJ does have to work on his dribbling, and work on getting to the line. But his defense is getting better and he is a better team player. Dame is good very good but the ceiling is catching up. CJ has a long way to the ceiling.

CJ has an amazing awareness of time and space, and the ability to instantly act on that information. I don't think anyone in the league is better. He is still growing; I am hoping that he can expand his awareness beyond the defenders and begin to see his teammates better and factor them into his decision-making.. I think he can.

CJ and Lillard have really improved their trade values this year.

His play has been the best part of the whole season, honestly. The social media posts are just a bonus!

I disagree. I think Lillard may actually have hurt his trade value, especially over the past month.

CJ is my favorite player to watch since Strickland and Roy.
Such creativity, fluidity to his game & highlight break down moves.

The next step for CJ is to look for the assist & not only his own shot (after penetrating past the initial defender).
Takes two to tango though and CJ can't manufacture assists himself. Stotts needs to have guys cutting to the hoop for easy buckets (not just parked at the three line).
Once he incorporates easy buckets for his teammates into his game - he'll be a monster.

Couple of very nice assists in this past game against GS (really nice no looker), so he seems to be on the right track.

to your point he is down to a poultry .346 3p% on the year thats REALLY bad if you want to consider yourself a "shooter"

To put that stat into greater context Aminu shot .361 from three last year.
