I can't wait to see what he does after he's done playing basketball. He'll be doing something on TV I think. Not sure what, but something.
CJ was great here. Sad to see him go. Sure it makes sense that we needed to move on from the Dame/CJ duo with where this franchise is at now. Still I'm sad we won't get to see these two compete in Blazer uni's together again. I was one of the rare believers that a team could win with the DameCJ backcourt, we just needed forwards that fit with those two. The best frontcourt they had was Harkless, Aminu, and a one armed Kanter which made the conference finals. Good luck in New Orleans CJ. Definitely at the top of my list of ex Blazers I will root for.
Now have unreasonable hopes that he finds a chef down in NOLA to stick at his winery when the doors open. Need some crescent city/stumptown collaborations.
I'll hold out hope we get him back, even if it is on a one day to retire here, and I look forward to entertaining the discussions of whether CJ's or LaMarcus gets into the rafters first. I still want a shot of him on the broadcast team before he goes national though.
I'm gonna miss him big time. He aggravated the hell out of me at times but there was far more good. Epitome of class act. Really hope he gets the chance to come back and retire a Blazer. He deserves that.
Thank you CJ, you seem like a great dude and I will root for your future success..... at least to a point... want NO to miss the playoffs this year of course Appreciated your years here.
Even though I feel we should have traded him about 4 years ago, I'm thankful for the hard work and professionalism that CJ brought to the organization. Some good memories too.
