    Like that!

Not sure if I'd say he's "smarter" than Dame but clearly his journalism background helps in talking to media. Damn, looks like another jewel for the Blazers.

Paul Allen's revenge! Also Sheed, Whitsitt, etc...

So, is Canzano gone? Or will he live forever, like the Devil?

We will never be rid of him. He's like a fungus that won't go away.

Yes. Canzano is a prime example of the knowledge-resistant 'hubris' fungus. Fairly common among sports 'journalists' and message board posters. ;)

If cj could come out like Lillard; we are in very good shape. I think batum really needs to focus on defense and facilitating other players. In order for batum to do that; he needs to look for his shot more.

If we have a center that can protect the rim; our team is in really really good shape

I am very excited to see CJ in the summer league. I think he's going to tear it up, and after watching the Job interview video with Rose and Simmons, I think he might surprise us with his point guard abilities. The guy understands basketball. Plain and simple, and I think he has a great head on his shoulders.

Summer league is definitely the time to test CJ out at PG. Since he'll have the ball in his hands he may repeat Lillard's MVP performance. We'll probably see a lot of CJ/Crabbe/Barton lineup. Do we even have a viable SF on our summer league roster?

The Trail Blazers will hold a press conference Monday, July 8 at the Rose Garden to introduce CJ McCollum.

Intriguing that the other rookies won't be with him, isn't it?

They're not guaranteed contracts, so I'm sure they won't announce them until AFTER we've used up all our cap space.

That might be a hint that those other draft picks won't necessarily be here this fall.

No. The draft picks when signed make more then 400K (which is all we are hit with when we don't have someone signed on the roster) which is why we are holding off to sign them. Squeezing every last penny into free agency that we can.

Brian had a thread discussing this and other free agency/salary cap points.

They're not even introducing Thomas Robinson then? He won't be traded, we have no excess at sub PF.
