Just saying, the Marcin Gortat example in the video is ridiculous, since he was off the bench long before the altercation started, so the rule doesn't apply. He actually went back toward his bench during the altercation. There is no "inconsistency" displayed in that video.
Somehow, the Suns ALWAYS give us a hard time. Doesn't matter how shit awful they are - we somehow find a way to be worse.

No, I tried speeding NEW and it kept auto correcting to this!!! See I spelled spelling wrong and it didn't fix it. I'm so confused.
If the suspension can't be served during a meaningless preseason game, the only conclusion is that preseason games aren't real games, they are practice games. And I get that. You haven't punished anyone by having them sit out against Macabre. By the same token, since preseason games are apparently not real games, but practice games, the infraction shouldn't count. Does the league suspend players for coming off the bench during a scuffle at practice? I didn't think so. Seriously, pick one, NBA. Either it's a game and the rule, and suspension, counts, or it's not, and they don't. I'm only about 25% serious BTW. As I see it there are two issues here people are arguing about. First, should the rule be enforced against CJ? Of course it should be. He absolutely left the bench and walked purposefully toward the altercation, until he was pushed back. That woman who claimed on ESPN he was just checking out the action is full of shit. Clear violation and clear penalty, and everyone knows it. Second, should that be the rule, or is it time to change the rule? Of course it should be changed. It's stupid the way it's written. Just my two pesos.
I can't remember any players serving suspensions during preseason you guys. I don't know why this is an issue. WHen guys have got busted fighting in the finals or got DUIs in the summer, they always sit out the beginning of the season, not preseason. Always been like that I swore. Also, of COURSE preseason games aren't real. That's why you can't take anything from them good or bad. Shit just THIS preseason a Hornets vs Pels game got cancelled. The reason, because Charlotte called up the league and asked they not make the trip. League said OK. Pels only played 4 preseason games. Meaningless is what the preseason is.
@HCP sorry if this has already been asked and answered but is CJ traveling with the team to Phoenix? Can he sit on the bench with team? Can you see if he can replace Hurd during the game?
That would be fun to have him join huh? We fly out this afternoon, but since it's a 3 game road trip, I'm quite sure he will be with us. I do know that players in the past if they were serving a suspension can't be in the building. Probably hang at the hotel and watch.
CJ is very interested in broadcasting. I know he wants to be in front of the camera, but he's poked his head into the truck to see what we do. A lot of the guys do.
Rather than replace Hurd, perhaps he could assist Scott Lynn with the radio call. Anyone filling in for Wheels needs all the help he can get.
