Come on man. Neither is top 5 in their position. Dame is on the cusp of top 5 and CJ has played 40 good games. He is approaching top ten at this stage, maybe. Let's not let PDX love cloud judgemenet.

Who is your top 5 point guards?

    Curry
    Westbrook

Are the top two imo. After that, who?

    Paul
    Wall
    Dame
    Bledsoe
    Rondo

Dame is in the top 4 in ppg for any guard, not just point guards. I'd say he's easily in the top 5 at his position.

It wasn't a comprehensive list. Just throwing out names.

Lowry's numbers really aren't THAT great though.

    20 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2.2 steals.

Solid, but top 5? I'm not so sure.

    Paul for third.

I'd say anywhere between 4-7 on that list would be about right. Like I said, on the cusp.

He's also the only option on a developing team so 4th in ppg is with a grain of salt.

In two years he will be top 3 (if he learns D) but he is where he is now.

Centers are becoming not only irrelevant; but a detriment.
