@Blazer4ever When are you gonna start arguing that I should play in the NBA? I played one year of community college basketball, and decided to not go back. I'm a 6'5 SG. Just giving you some facts for your argument.
Do you know that the D-League, while being a part of the NBA, is different than the NBA? In fact, its a lower level than the NBA, meaning the competition is worse. The affect this has is it will make bad NBA players look average. Go look up Quartermans or Layman's D-League stats.
I used to be able to 360 dunk and I can handle the ball and pass well. I'm white as sour cream, so I'm not blazing fast, and I do have knee concerns, but I feel like you could formulate on arguement for me at least being on the Blazers Summer League team!
So you based your whole opinion off seeing him play once, and then ignored all the stats that show otherwise?
I know what I saw. He was great in SL. Never got a real chance in actual NBA games but it doesn't nessecarily mean he isn't worth it. Take a guy like James Johnson for example, he's been in the league for years and only now got real minutes to prove himself. There are many examples. Stotts wouldn't play Tim Frazier no matter what. Some coaches can't identify talent
The thing with Johnson is he completely transformed his body. His good play wasn't really due to getting a bigger chance, it just gave him an opportunity to show his improvements. He still had good NBA qualities before hand, something I don't think Early has. Everyone knew Frazier could be decent if he dominated the ball, and that's what happened. He's still a fringe NBA player. Early could've been playing his best basketball at the times you watched. To form an opinion based on the "eye-test", you have to see enough of a player to see him at his best and his worst.
Same. Gained 25lbs since then and nite my knees are fucked up. Can't jump 100% without sharp pains in the patellar tendon. 75% is fine though
