His enigmatic multi-colored hair patch seems to have stemmed from a dubious attempt to attain increased virility performed by a modern-day charlatan akin to the infamous John Brinkley. Brinkley was a quack in the early 20th century who claimed to offer increased virility through the transplant of goat testicles into humans. Capela, no doubt lured by the prospect of improved performance on the basketball court, fell prey to this eccentric scientist's experimental procedure.

However, instead of experiencing an athletic renaissance, Capela was left with an unintentional side effect: a vibrant patch of hair that acts as a quirky mood ring, changing color with his emotions. It appears that the scientist's promises of virility were as dubious as Brinkley's goat-testicle transplants. If we manage to get Capela, let us not forget the cautionary tale of John Brinkley. ATL gets that Holmes guy nobody wants, JaVale McGee, and a future pick. That makes the Hawks much worse. Trae Young won't be able to absorb being on a horrible team, and will ask to be traded. People who work for the Hawks will tweet smartass comments, and light the firestorm of perched Trae Young haters. Then Atlanta will complain about opponents not offering a spectacular trade package for the All-Star PG who they just pushed out the door.

 

Clint is a downgrade on the offense side of things but a pretty big upgrade on the defensive side of things but not sure the Hawks would want Nurk in return and that is about only thing we could offer unless Hawks brought in on the Dame deal in some way.

 

He could be a fine addition, but not particularly compelling.
