It's theoretically better--Harden is an excellent shooter, Paul is a very good one, and both have to be accounted for because even off the ball they could be the true initiator if the current action is a decoy. The question is how much better and whether D'Antoni will scheme creative enough sets to maximize their ball-dominant skillsets. The worst case scenario is that they don't improve much on offense (because their skillsets prove to be redundant) and they get a bit worse on defense (Paul is a very good defender, but arguably not as good as Beverly) and there are tensions over the course of the season.
In the future, historians will recall that the basketball lexicon was increased in the summer of 2017 with the addition of the term "Flopcourt"., e.g. "Houston has the best flopcourt ever created."
Does it really matter? Neither Dame or CJ get All-Star nods these days. Such a dubious honor when it never translates into anything useful on the court.

Well I didn't see this one coming. Thought Houston was just involved in more big rumors as always. I don't know why CP3 so badly wants to play with Harden. Harden is a great player but very ball dominant. Also don't understand it since Harden played better at PG. I don't think it will work but one thing that will work in CP3's favor is the spacing
We can laugh but D'Antoni is going to thrive with Harden, CP3 and Melo on that team...Melo was built to play D'Antoni ball...I'd like to get Lou Williams from them
