I dont see it as that. I see it as CNN knowing they need time restraints for a Q&A. THis was never a planned speech. Kid submits topic he wants to pose his question under. CNN formulates kids idea into a question for kid. Father of child changes the question into a much longer speech form. CNN says they agree on a short question already that had ALREADY BEEN SUBMITTED. Father and son have a tissy fit and remove they portion of the email stating the question had already been submitted and instead try to smeer CNN. I have no fatih in any major media outlet, but I think the right place to start is saying what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong and what the family did was wrong. CNN has a schedule to maintain, they are within their programming rights to let a family know this isn't a time for a speech but to stick to the question they and ALREADY agreed on.
There are literally thousand of young people on the West Coast Sailing in the various harbors and Sounds. I have talk with many now. A hell of lot of them about your age. Damn if I can find any that aren't scared shitless to do what I do, singlehand Sailing the West Coast. They talk much about it but, you can see the doubt in their eyes! Perhaps I don't see the right image in the mirror. But then, I sure don't think they do. So twitter away Sly.
