Where do I mention the president in my last post? Where do I say I think it's a good idea to give him control of nuclear arms or anything of the sort? Please, do tell me. And no, I don't think doing every single little thing that the UN tells us to do should be done. Do you think Iran and North Korea obey every command? If you didn't realize, we fund a lot of the UN's peacekeeping operations (wikipedia claims 26%). Taking that into account, my question was this: if we decide to do differently, what are they going to do to stop us? Not every American (especially a lot of the soldiers I have spoken to) agrees with the UN.Furthermore, I've found that the UN actually does say we are allowed nuclear arms. Link

Also just because you pay for something of theirs doesnt mean you can break the rules of hte orginization. Also i did not say we can't hold nuclear arms, but as i did say if we can everyone can, and it's not our right to go around and take people's nucleur weapons away breaking the contract we signed with the U.N. Honestly, the U.N. may be a joke but it's there for a reason, to keep thing sin order and htey do that however htey failed with us. BCB you're very right about his political level.

Iran signed into the UN on October 24, 1945, and North Korea signed on September 17, 1991. So, you're wrong. You said that we should not have them because of Bush, which is fine. The argument I cannot agree with is that because we have them, everyone should. If you think Pakistan, Iran, and North Korea should be allowed nuclear arms, you are out of your damn mind. These people will do whatever it takes to kill their enemy (we have aligned ourselves with Israel, so Iran should jump out at you). Our country, while it may go into military affairs blindly at times, has some restraint. The US has not signed any contract with the UN to disarm, and if they have, they're foolish (prove me wrong with citations if you like). If the UN fails, then we should not follow it into our graves. If the US fails your state, your city, whatever, the same thing is applicable. The number one priority is protecting your family and your home. If following the rules puts your safety in general, then following is a poor path.
It doesn't matter THAT IS NOT OUR BUISNESS WE ARE NOT THE WORLD LEADERS, that is what i'm trying to get through to you, we don't run this world.
C'mon man your only like 12 right? Grow up Fabulous life only gets better, you havent even seen the first thing yet wait till you grow up.And BCB when you grow up do you want to have an occupation in politics because it seems like you know a lot.I've visited the United Nations like a month ago, nice place. Took a tour as well. But Clinton helping the Jews out who the Muslims hate from past history made them mad because they were always getting the only support. I think that was a bit of the reason, not a lot, not a lot at all./

Oh GArenas, you are such a card.My point is that the UN doesn't do a good job of controling what goes on in the world. We don't control the world, but we do have a large part in it and thusly, have say in what goes on. You can't even get your facts straight, let alone make a worthwhile argument for why the UN is worth a dime. I understood your point the first time and rejected it; putting in in CAPITAL LETTERS IS NOT GOING TO MAKE ME AGREE WITH YOU EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU ARE MORE RIGHT THAN ME BECAUSE YOU THINK SOMETHING BASED ON PERSONAL OPINION AND ZERO FACTS. Thanks.
We're not protecting ourselves there was never a threat, why are you even arguing with me anymore, you're not saying anything that makes sense.

You never said anything that made sense.Edit: Okay, okay. I will stop arguing, since you have nothing to say, apparently. I just want to see one fact out of you. What is the name of this "contract" we signed to not have nuclear arms?
Wow, are you kidding me. I never said we signed a contract to not have nucleur arms. Oh my god, I have never seen someone as dumb as you in this political debate. You didn't portray a signle argument that supported Bush watsoever, you did not prove a single point. What are you twelve? Do you really understand this world so little. Also Iran is allowed to have what they want, as long as they don't make threats with it, and they haven't. I'm Iranian and you have no right to attack us, we're allowed to have what we want, if we abuse it believe me that I wouldn't mind the U.N. attacking, which they will if their is a reason to. What I will give to you is you're a pretty good debater, just dont agree with your side.

This is supported by the UN, not opposed by it. You said they disagreed with the US, and I'm trying to figure out when or where they disagreed with us.And I already told you that I don't support Bush. Calling me twelve doesn't make you look any brighter than you're looking already, especially when you can't get your facts straight.I didn't claim anyone should attack Iran, but I don't get why you think the US should follow every rule, but Iran shouldn't. That's what I'm trying to figure out. The UN allows America to have nuclear arms, but not Iran. All I want is for you to disprove this with facts and not just personal opinion (and calling me twelve).
All of this is true, as you are saying. However it is the UN's buisness to take care of Iran, not our decision. When the U.N. decides that htey have had enough, then we should attack together, not alone without the approval. As for them disagreeing with the US, I'm talking about Iraq (where no nucleur weapons were found). As for the other factor, I'm arguing the U.N. contract that is passed about the nucleur arms, as long as you have showed no sign of danger when holding them you shouldn't be restricted from them. Also it is the U.N. that passed this law, so it is the U.N. all together to decide to take care of it.
clinton and bush both suckbut i disagree with the clinton being impeachedfor what?cheating on his wife and lying about it?i mean cmonBTWi realize there are other reasons dont worry im not an idot
