I just googled it. Stotts extended through the '21-'22 season. Neil extended through the '23-'24 season.
Off-the-wall question. Is there someplace that has a list of all Blazer coaches, preferably with their W-L records? Thanks.

That list of coaches gives an interesting snapshot of how franchise priorities change. In length of tenure, Stotts is 2nd to Dr Jack with 8 seasons. This is despite the fact that Adelman (6 seasons) and Dunleavy (4 seasons) both had clearly better records in both the regular season and the play-offs. It's also interesting that Lenny Wilkens was only given 2 seasons when his teams were crippled by injuries (primarily Walton). Wilkens (one of the classiest guys in league history) is all but forgotten in Portland because he was followed as coach by Dr Jack. For the benefit of younger posters, Wilkens is in the HOF as both a player and coach and after being fired in Portland won a title in Seattle.
You're right, how could Sarge ever compare to 6 straight trips to the playoffs and the WCF last year? And Mo Cheeks - wow, now there's another fantastic coach!!
I always felt that Wilken's wasn't given a fair chance as he started off as a player coach and his last year here he was missing Walton for a large chunk of the season and had two players in Wicks and Petrie that didn't gel very well together. No way to prove it, but I think he would have been able to bring home a championship with the same roster Ramsey was given. I hated the Sonics but I was glad that Wilken's was able to show what he could do winning the championship and taking the team to the finals the year prior.
my man! he doing good with Pacific. He's definitely moving up the ranks and gaining experience as he goes Coaching History 2008 - player dev @ Rice Uni 2009 - coaching staff @ Grizzlies 2011 - coaching staff @ memphis Tigers 2013 - coaching staff @ arizona wildcats 2015 - coaching staff @ memphis tigers 2016 - head coach at pacific tigers
If we are looking for an ex-player, I would rather go with Lionel Hollins. He had a rep as being a pretty good defensive coach.
two more after this one. if Jody Allen would agree to 30M in tax over the last 2 years, she probably wouldn't balk at eating 10M in dead salary for Stotts if she thought it was time for a change
Sloan had two future Hall Of Famers. Two guys who were at one point considered the best ever at their positions. There is no question that Stotts would have a better record if he had that luxury.
They also had some pretty good players with them throughout the years other than Stockton and Malone. Jeff Malone, Thurl Baily, Mark Eaton . Tyrone Corbin, Andrei Kirilenko, Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Memet Okur, Derek Fischer, Paul Milsap, Jerry Sloan was not without help getting a decent record. To say the least.
Dame was first team all NBA just two seasons ago and he's most likely the best real PG in the league this year as well. He's HOF bound if he maintains his current trajectory.
How much of that is the due to coaching though? There is a chicken/egg scenario there... Also, although Stotts have not had two HOF level players, he's had comparable talent for the 'supporting cast'
